I just bought an elan in Paris! I was so happy the SA brought it out after I inquired. I love it.

question, i have one also.. love it too!!!! do you have major issues opening it.. i am afraid i am going to permanent bend the leather it is really hard to unlatch! Is yours the same?

Does anyone know if the strap length the same on this newer version as the older one? Or how long the strap is for elan now? The older version length is perfect on me so hoping H at least didn’t change that up.

No I don’t have major issues opening it. But how do you find the inside lining? I mean lifting the flap i feel the swift leather lining is “stretched”. Not sure if that makes sense. but the lining seems to not fit flush against the outside leather when open. do i feel i can’t fully lift the flap. What leather do you have? I’d love to see a picture ❤️

i was able to get one on my recent trip to korea, very excited about the new purchase. I had black, gold and etope to choose from, all with rghw. The black one came home with me.

Wow, so pretty and timeless! All 3 choices are right up my alley. May I ask which boutique in South Korea and were you able to ask for a bag right away or had to dance a bit with other items? I’m going in spring 2025.

Thank you, good to know. Unsure how true this is but feel like Hermes Asia is a bit more straight forward. Spend xyz to get what you want…luckily I do enjoy other Hermes items so 1:1 is doable.

Yes, the swift on the inside doesn’t fit flush and I’ve found this a bit weird as well, worried that I’ll stretch it! But it’s likely more hardy than we think, so I’ve just been using it!!

Yes, the swift on the inside doesn’t fit flush and I’ve found this a bit weird as well, worried that I’ll stretch it! But it’s likely more hardy than we think, so I’ve just been using it!!

Just picked up one of these in Gold w/ PHW and can confirm that the inside leather lining stretches when opened…

Sharing my Rouge H Elan. Purchased this back in August. Definitely my favorite bag at the moment. Easy to wear, easy access, hold my fat phone, duo calvi, foldable hairbrush, chapstick, floss, mint…and Epsom leather is just so easy to wear without babysitting the bag.

Right? It’s a more practical bag. I have the Roulis Mini same size as C18 and it is still sitting in the box. It’s cute and all but when I looked at it again, I can’t really fit much without making it looks bulky. Yours is such a classic color too! My SA in the US was the one that introduced me to Etoupe and Rouge H and I’m loving both colors.
