Okay..... I have a rather silly, slightly embarassing question... I got the recommendation from someone that there was See's at our Lord & Taylor in a certain area, when I arrived there - there was Godiva chocolate...

Did I miss something, is Godiva the same thing as See's?? Is See's a special brand or type or something...

For the record, I know I am going to be doing this, ->:smash: after I get the answer, but I just had to ask to see if I was missing something here....

i'm in jersey and i saw see's at my lorde and taylor! it's supposed to be next to the Godiva with it's own little cart. :yes:

Okay.... what do the packages look like??

I only saw some Easter bunnies with some chocolate eggs and the gold Godiva boxes.... I must be going blind...

I had never heard of this stuff before tPF - and want to find out what the fuss is about!! :p I probably didn't look hard enough... I had a rush of ppl coming up behind me and didn't want to get run over.

See's is a totally different chocolate brand than Godiva (but I actually think See's is tastier, but that's just me!) Godiva is the gold boxes, See's is in white with black stripes

Hope that cleared it up!

Sees is located in California - a friend of mine used to mail order easter candy boxes for my kids each year. I think now you can buy them all over.

Good, but not as good as Bridgewater Chocolate.

See's is actually only sold west of the Rocky Mountains. But at holiday times they have kiosks in stores and malls. I send it to my East Coast friends all the time.

hmm...well i live in california and see's is quite popular! :yes: It's very different from godiva...(less expensive..) And um ...yeah! :nuts:

my favorite from see's are walnut squares and mint truffles...mmmm...;) ...might have to go buy some now...darn you ladies! :graucho:

^ Oh, she was replying to a PM that I asked for specific directions where to find it in a couple places.

choozen1ne - Are you by Somerset?? I live pretty close to there and go there most often... I've been to Novi a bit, etc. Somerset is nice because it has all of the speciality stores, so if you are looking for more variety of a certain brand - you have a bit more opportunity to find it!

I can't wait until the store in Troy is redone!! Have you seen the smaller store???

PS - You're working your way up to those 500 posts!! ;)

I have not seen the smaller store , I live about an hour from Somerset , I probaly get there once a month and Lakeside is about 45 min from my house , its not too bad and for Coach I am willing to go any distance
The town where I live is 95% fakes , not a weekend goes by that I am not invited to a fake purse party , as is I would let my Coach mingle with thos fakes , they may catch something like Pleather Diease !
Back to the topic any one know what is so special about the Straw Clutch that makes it $500 ? am I missing something ?

I love See's. My gramma used to bring a 2lb box of assorted chocolates to every family holiday get together we had. It isn't a family event without it. *L* Love that stuff.
