I think it looks great on you and you should keep it. Save up for an IWC and get that later on. That would give you the best of both worlds.

I can't decide on what to get. The new explorer I comes out soon, but then having an IWC would expand my collection.

IWC with a leather strap. I also recommend a dial that's not black. The 8 day Portofino or Portuguese are worth considering too.

This will sound a bit silly but I lean towards black dials because it matches my hair so I usually go with neutrals.
