I finally listed some bags and Slgs on the consignment site I sell on. 10 items and Im actually looking for more to list. Letting go of my Costa Rica Willis with Nickel hardware and a small side pack. plus some items I thrifted and never used.
But the big one is my Gucci trifold wallet. Im not using it and thought the money could go towards the new Gucci wallet I want.

Had someone make an offer less than 50% of my asking price for the Gucci...ah No!...if they had made an offer of a bit more I might have negotiated...but its only been up maybe 4 hrs so I wont reduce it that much...Im not desperate

I just had something similar happened. I sent out a 20% offers to the people who like an item. I got an offer for less than 1/2 of the original price!!! So annoying. I counteroffered with another 10% lof (on top of my 20% off). I doubt this person will accept. I hate insulting offers . I was going to ignore the offer or straight out decline.

I tend to make offers of between 10 and 20%...all they have to say is No thank you.
I guess we all want a bargain but you dont know what the sellers make or break point is.
And although I dont sell in Ebay at all and have only sold a few items to fund other purchases, I know what it feels to be on the receiving end of a crap offer so I try not to do it myself.

Yay to purging! I just purged a bag full of clothes. Some still NWT! I gave up on ever being able to get back to the body I had 10 years ago. I'll get more bags. They always fit.

You understand me! DH has offered to add a new shelf on one side of my closet so all my bags can fit. Except, he doesn't know that won't be enough before long. Or maybe he does?

When the offer is so ridiculously low, I tend to think the buyer might be buying to resell it at a profit……..or are being rude and cheap

I'll live with it. Maybe it will grow on me. Maybe it will look better once we get the carpet and furniture back in the entry. The baseboards aren't even in yet. Some day, we'll probably change out the carpeting in the rest of the house but I have no idea what color family I should go with. The entry has so much more gray in it than I realized. The current carpet is a warm beige. It goes well with all our furniture. If I change the carpet to a cooler tone to go better with the entry, it probably won't go with the furniture. Maybe we will change the entry the same time we change out the carpet. Maybe that will never happen since we are tired of having workmen in our house and the stress of it all.

Sounds like it's a decision you can make later. In the meantime you can enjoy having a beautiful kitchen plus a quiet and clean home again.

I send out great offers all the time, discounts of 35% or more, because I'm trying to get rid of everything so I don't have to deal with it anymore, and still no one is buying. Why are they liking my items if they don't want them?

Makes no sense. I have done the same discount and it was declined. Ok fine, now that you have declined could you please unlike my item then?

Yesterday I sent out a great offer. After that offer expired, someone made an offer for more than that offer, which, of course, I accepted! I don't think it is worth sending out offers. If someone really wants it, they will make an offer.
