I am sorry for LV lovers but i am shocked that anyone pays thousand for a coated vinyl whatever. I don’t care how limited they are I think they are all the same. I just started doing reselling things because i have been one that gives things away or i keep them forever since i have space. It is time consuming to have to go to USPS. Most of what i sell are literally brand new and well cared for. I tend to have seller remorse. I sold a couple vintage but i would not wear the colors. I have sold a couple brand new but looking at what coach is offering I am second guessing selling. I can still use the bags so I will likely hang on to them. You are not getting your money back and time spent and the hassle. Rethinking the whole selling new unused and forcing myself to use them and then decide. You are not going to get any more for a new or used bag if you take care of them.
Sometimes selling on Poshmark or Ebay or Mecari feels sort of yuk and at time insulting. I am especially getting up to speed on scam pro sellers creating accounts to low ball offers and do very bizarre things with your item like buy it text to your bundle that oh they didn’t realize this or that so you would need to wait to cancel offers or purchases and then say oh no i didn’t notice this so you would break down and give them a price break. Total jerks. I don’t want any item back that someone else touched so if i have an inkling of that i will cancel the sale in a NY Minute

I am a CPA but i only look at taxes once a year. This one surprised me and most of the tax clients this has zero impact. If you are Poshista or whatever they call themselves they will likely need to file a schedule c and also report employment taxes on their earning because they are a business. For the other Folks they will receive a 1099-k for gross proceeds. Now for poshmark not sure but regardless you will file it as miscellaneous income. There should also be an expense section that you populate your original cost, fees, shipping etc. The key there is you have to have receipts for your purchase or it is fully taxable if you can verify your cost. I was glad since all my stuff is online with coach or i have store receipts going back to 2015 scanned in email the few i sell i can capture. If you bought the item on ebay or elsewhere that is a receipt of the cost.
you likely wont be impacted this year so get your tax program or the forms and see where you deduct your expenses. being able to deduct your cost and fees is key to $0 taxable amount
For most people this is Hobby income and you offset with your purchase price and TPSP fees and shipping. If you don’t have a receipt for the original purchase you will have to use thrift. For those selling LV they can bank on having to get an appraisal and if they sold it for more they purchased it or have a product that is worth $3k and they sold it they will be paying taxes on the net
I see the Beat Saddle selling for $270 NEW. I think really. If it is indeed NEW. Macy’s return window is End of month. Coach was i think the 15th. I did see some of the last batch floating for 225 to clear out (likely displays shipped back to coach) so why are they selling when they could return. 1) it is not really new 2) it was a gift without a gift receipt 3) they bought it on the Macy’s sale for 209 i guess with tax. To me after TPSP fees of 20% and your time to take it to the USPS you already are under water or oh boy you got $20 bucks. Not worth it. My thought is i see some of the bags. There is a tag but someone could put it in the purse and use it a few times and not like it. I don’t trust that stuff unless they are a year out and didn’t use a new bag.

These are so cute! I always have to stop myself from getting the Coach notebooks. I got one years ago and I tend to like spiral bound books but I like to folder over the flap and flip from side to side. So I ended up taking the cover off the notebook lol But I did love the quality of the notebook! It was probably 10 years ago so I don’t know how they are now.

That's so weird about your cc. Sometimes banks get crazy and block you. I had it happen 4 times with the same cc/bank, so I simply stopped using it. They sent me a new cc each time even though there was no issue. It was just too annoying for me.
Confession time! I got a “new” bag! But I didn’t end up paying anything for it, it was only a few dollars above our island limit and I had a gift card. So a gray area … But I can’t believe I got it for such a low price, it was $528 back in 2009.
I always admired this bag from one of my Coach 2009 catalogs! I didn’t have much info on it and the catalog didn’t list the size so I thought it was bigger, doesn’t it look deceiving in the catalog pics?! I thought it was an oversized bag but I’m still happy with it as I don’t have many shoulder bags.
This is the Parker Op Art Pieced Shoulder Bag! It has rose gold hardware and the leather is pearlized. Sadly missing it’s hangtag, I know I’m going to end up buying a few to try and match and end up spending more than what I paid for the bag I think the soft colors will be nice for Spring and it’s so different from anything in my satchel focused work bags.

I didn’t have much info on it and the catalog didn’t list the size so I thought it was bigger, doesn’t it look deceiving in the catalog pics?! Has anyone seen these turnlock notebooks? I saw one in a picture of planners and though it must be Coach with that turnlock! I found three colors: natural, pink, and red, but they aren't in stock in the US. I hope this doesn't tempt anyone here other than me. Huge apologies to @musiclover and @carterazo
