I can't think when I'll next feel comfortable to shop in person. I've been thinking about the fall and winter and wondering if I'll continue to wear my lounge clothes. I bought a few new sweaters that it makes me sad I might not wear. Since I haven't had the energy or drive to get dressed in real clothes most of the summer I don't know what makes me think I'll be any different when the weather gets cooler. I probably will only wear my coats a few times this year.

In my ongoing saga of not being able to get food I want - instacart has been out of parmesan cheese for a few months, except for the pre-grated kind. I bought a huge container of pre-grated, not realizing how big it would be, and have discovered that, while I don't really care for it as cheese, it makes a great substitute for spaghetti noodles! Another ingredient I haven't been able to find is Crisco sticks. I can get the tubs but the sticks are much more convenient. Today Amazon had a package of 6 packages (3 sticks each) for around $22 and I jumped on it. So now I'll have enough for the next few years.

I've been to the mall a few times(it's odd i will give you that) we weren't there for ages more just we needed those stores in person for buy it that day purchases. Been to the party store again for the birthdays.. it's well organized, social distancing inside, caps on now many allowed inside... everyone wears masks and the staff have plexiglass at checkout.

Been to Carters, Michael's craft store(more times than i care to admit but ODD is a crafter) hit up walmart at least once a week.. all the stores have the same precautions.

I wouldn't spend hours anywhere but i am fairly comfortable with going out... i just am cautious. I should add the areas i go to are and have always been low numbers i wouldn't go to the other areas if you paid me lol.

It’s one of my more practical purchases :graucho:.

Better weather today. Not quite so hot so I was able to get a lot done at home. I hope things settle down on your end of the country.

It was a lot nicer. Nights are cool which i like. Supposed to get hot again by Friday which is grand babies 1st birthday BBQ lol. Oh, well it's in the evening we will kick up a fire and should be good.

I think it’s fine to wear the new sweaters that you already bought but I wouldn’t buy more if I were you since it is unlikely you will get a lot of use out of them this Fall. I have gone out here and there (occasional Target run with DH when we needed something that we couldn’t wait for them to be mailed, Costco twice, etc). But I just can’t go shopping for fun/leisure now — think it would stress me out too much

Sorry to hear you haven’t been getting your fresh Parmesan but glad you got a huge thing of Crisco sticks (had to look it up since not familiar with it). I think DH said we might continue with the grocery cube side pickup even when it is safe since it is a pretty convenient and efficient way of meal planning.

I've been to Costco once and that was at the end of June. That places generally annoys me but i wanted cake lol. yes, that was my reason. :hrmm::biggrin:

You can look at the bottom of the bottle and it will tell you the size (based on the shape, it is likely 17 or 9, I think). Here are mine — from left to right — 17 oz (and the sports cap I bought),16 oz Starbuck, 15 oz S’ip and 12 oz. I use all of them. The SB one is getting kind of beat up on the outside — I may need to get a replacement next year .

I know what you mean about spilling water on myself with the wide mouth but I find the ease of cleaning the wide mouth is worth a little water on my shirt

Great collection! i don't have anywhere i'd need a bottle. I mean i could bring one to the barns but honestly easier to just come in the house besides, it's to dirty and just not a good idea with the larger livestock... they are nosy! my daughters horse tried to drink her dads coffee the other week lol.

This is cute HS! I'm glad you've found a bag you can carry! Do you hand carry it?

I can't believe your granddaughter is 1! It doesn't seem that long ago we were waiting to hear the news of her being born. Enjoy!

Thank you! yeah, i mean for a few moments i can toss the crossbody strap on my shoulder but i mainly leave it in the car, it's so cute but i dunno, i am honestly more a wallet girl.. conflicted i am more rustic and basic, just who I am. Like fancy things.. but it's not really me, does any of that make sense?

I know right?! 1yo! dd did pics of her today with all her little stickers she's done monthly pics with these age stickers, today she lay them all out around her... crazy. I keep warning them, it doesn't last it's gone fast. It's intense and hard, but gone quick. What's that saying? days are long, years are short.

Okay have we seen the price of peanut butter? :amazed: I dropped and rolled in aisle 2. :panic:

For years, I pay $4.28 for a large jar of Smuckers. In recent months, it jumped $1. Okay, I get it somewhat. Today they wanted $6.28 for one jar!!!! Excuse moi?

I may be off the peanut for good. Pray for me. This is my main staple. There may be a second stick in the house. :crybaby:

I got a bag fund people! Ripping me off for a nut is NOT okay.

yeah, it's been pricey here for awhile unless it's on sale then A 1kg jar of Kraft PB is like 4$

I am a grown/mature  woman, a mother and a wife but I am fantasizing stalking my celeb crush who is “in town” on vaca (seeing his IG pics of places he visited). I don’t even know if the wife and kids are along on his vaca. Anyone else ever want to do something crazy like that?

That's cute. Nah, not my thing... but nothing wrong with it. If anything i'd say pretty darn normal.

All food prices have skyrocketed! I don't know how people do it with lots of kids!:confused1:

They have. My kids are all adults however we have a big family and go through stuff like crazy, bread 2$, milk 4.50$, butter 4.50$ cream, over 3$..

I meal plan based on sales, with the pandemic it's been harder to buy stuff. Dislike strongly overpaying for stuff.

We have pumpkins! seriously see we little guys so exciting lol my grandson is so happy to see "his pumpkins" growing  It's fun to see this through little kids eyes again.

Grab a pic tomorrow... just ran out of time today... must show you all the one mare. She is gonna be a unicorn for the birthday party which is unicorn and rainbow themed. DD dyed her mane tonight multi colors. All safe food dye. she has a horn for her too. This horse is a miniature size A which means she is tiny and has a mane and tail for days, a real live my little pony kind.

If you recall she was once in my avatar. :D
