Yes guys...its all over rover...With Italy now on a total ban its all been cancelled. Will wait to see what my cousin can do for me. Yes Im guttered about it but there is not much I can do at all.

I am real bummed for you . I really do hope you can go at a later date — don’t give up hope on this dream trip. In the meantime, enjoy your new bags and any rehabbing you will be doing.

I'm so very sorry to hear this. Absolutely nothing you could have done to predict this. If your cousin isn't able to do much, I say you call the places yourself and plead your case. You've been planning this for years!

Should be getting a refund from the tour and might be able put a hold on the flights till next year. think in the end I might lose about $1000 NZ. Better than the $7000 I was expecting

Do you want to keep all the packaging?...You could sell the packaging , I know people want them.

I like keeping the packaging in case I sell later. I have sold some in the past — I don’t know if I would have gotten less money if I didn’t have the box, etc. I am too lazy (and tired) to sell anything these days — that’s why I am over my bag limit by a little, lol.

Ok I hate to do this to myself but in addition to my bag ban, I have to put a temporary ban on SLGs too. I was trying to clear a space in my closet and found my SLGs all over in an unorganized manner. Each shopping bag has at least 2 boxes. One bag has 5 without boxes. Time to take a break on these as well . And I have a few Coach, LeSportsacs and Kipling items too. So I can’t buy anything now....except socks from Target

I actually keep most of them in their dust bags only (for better airflow). But I have gotten many recently (my bad!) that I just left them in their boxes. I just now moved into the new key pouch I got in Jan. A little behind on everything here, lol. I am a bad clutterbug, according to my DH. He is always commenting on my cluttered ways like asking if he should buy me the Marie Kondo book, or suggesting I watch the M Kondo show, or asking if I need to look into this storage place called Clutter.com that has been running ads lately. Ggrrr.

If I want to keep bags, I fold them flat and stuff them in a space between a dresser and a bookcase. But, I remember learning to keep paper bags from my mom (she used them for trash) and then learning that cockroaches eat the glue on them. After that, I only keep special paper bags. I would probably try to nest the boxes as much as I could, then store the SLGs together where I could see them.

Hey, I was able to buy all of the following items: toilet paper, soap, hydrogen peroxide, witch hazel, and 409. Lol. I was mainly restocking items but figured I should get them while I can. Lol! The witch hazel was a replacement for rubbing alcohol as that was gone since people have learned how to make sanitizer.

I know it is in one of the recipes for sanitizer. It is also an ingredient in my facial toner so it is kind of an antiseptic? So I think you can use it for cleaning skin issues similar to rubbing alcohol. In small areas anyway... I have never bought it before. Lol!

This looks like fun! I'd love to pop over and watch you sort your stuff! I could bring a bagful of LV with me and we'd could talk, look at our SLGs and have a cup of tea.
