I love this Mercer! I don’t own any but if I could own one it would be this version or the hologram purple/green. Love the suede sides.

This is such a pretty bag!
Thank you, both! I like it a lot. I think I may use it as my travel satchel for my upcoming trip. The zippered compartment and additional security of the turnlock which should keep things safe. I like the open side pockets for my phone and book.

I sold another bag in the best sort of sale. It sold within 10 minutes of listing it! This means that I donated or gave away 6 bags, sold two, and have two more listed. So I celebrated and just bought that Coach Cass bag in oak with brass hardware. I've been looking for a rich brown for a couple years, and this bag really fit my need. I saw it and tried it on a couple weeks ago at a store, and someone did a reveal on another thread. I wanted to wait until I could make sure I could get the 30% discount, and I did! Really happy I'm getting this bag!

These ads are really, really annoying! They make the platform unstable too. Anyone else notice this? Posts jump around.
Your sales have gone well! You are definitely deserving of a new bag! I’m looking forward to comparing notes when our new bags arrive!

It is kind of more a shiny silver, which really works with this bag--esp because the complimentary color is navy on the bag (and on the inside. I have paired it with my navy strap from mautto that I was using on the dalmatian dinky bag. Thanks! I just happened to take another pic....

This is so pretty! I love the pattern. I have it in chalk with pink glitter roses in the Charlie pouch. But I love these pretty blues you’ve been buying (thinking of your Charlie 28).

I have looked at this bag for probably the last 10 sales. Lol. I felt like it might not look as good in person, etc, so I just kept looking at images online and decided with 50/20 off I would go for it. Then I almost returned it due to the slight wear from being tossed around by Coach, but decided for the price, etc, and knowing you couldn’t really see the flaws I would keep it. I have used it the last few days and really like it!

Unrelated side note.... my Cassie came completely wrapped today. Yea! I did the garage opening so haven’t had much time to look at it given it is a Saturday and we are all home. Lol. But it looks great.
Yay! I can’t wait till mine gets here. Hopefully by the end of this week. I’ll let you know!

I wish it would get here soon but I find things sent from the US to Canada take at least a week or more. Not Amazon, of course, but LV and Coach. Hopefully the box will arrive in better shape than the last one.
My FOS purchases always take a week to 2 weeks to get to California. Even FP purchases take 3 to 7 days. If they ship from a store, it comes a little sooner. It seems it would make sense for a company to have their warehouse in the center of the country rather than at one corner.

Yes, that makes a lot of sense! Two weeks is a long time, though. Because I live close to several FP stores, I usually have anything I order from the retail site delivered to my home store and I’ll see it there for the first time. It’s easier for returns. I always feel it’s a bit of a gamble to order from FOS but we will go to the outlet within the month in case I need to return it. I hope my Cassie is in good shape when it arrives.

I think it will be fully wrapped since for two of of us that received it it has been that way. I think by ordering the moment it hits FOS it is a bag that hasn’t made the rounds in the outlets yet. Good luck!

Omg...I had this order from Nevada that was shipped from Patagonia by the slowest ups method available. I joked that it came by pony express as it seemed so slow. I have mixed results for packages from the California area. Some companies ship fairly fast so it doesn’t matter, and then some don’t. Lol!

I'm spoiled by prime. Most ebay sellers ship quickly. Big companies take longer. Ugg is really good at shipping fast. Coach is one of the slowest. Sometimes by the time I get my order, I forgot what I ordered.

I hadn’t thought of that but it makes sense to me. I’m glad I read you had ordered Cassie or I might not have checked out the FOS. It’s not something I usually do. I am more inclined to visit my outlet 4 or 5 times a year.

lol, your garage opening :).

Off topic venting please, I have been consumed by the C-virus panic the last couple of days since we are in the same metro area as a few confirmed cases. yikes. The stores are all out of any sanitizer, alcohol wipes, and even most soaps now :(. Amazon is mostly out too. I got some extra water and canned food etc. I want to buy some hand sanitizer from Bath Body works since they are the only store with any left (tonight at least). DH thinks I am crazy and that good old fashioned hand washing should suffice. I hate to waste money but want to be prepared.

On another thread, a person who works in disease control said that washing hands is better than using hand sanitizer. Also, that hand sanitizer dry out your skin and if your skin cracks, it leaves you more vulnerable.

My daughter works in Sacramento. I think we are a little safer here, being in a small town without lots of travelers, although the world ag show was here just before Valentine's.

DH is a little worried too. He is especially worried about his drugs since they are made in China. If they run out of the drugs he needs to stay alive, I don't know what we will do. The insurance won't let us get more than 90 days at a time.

We bought some more bottled water but we didn't get any extra food. I've been stocking up on food for most of our marriage and I've had to throw away so much that expired. I don't want to end up wasting. We have quite a bit of food in the house that would last a long time.

Thanks for your reply. I heard the same about drugs — wishing your DH well with his meds. It is frustrating how insurance works . I ended up ordering a couple bottles of sanitizer and some travel size ones — think it doesn’t hurt to have some around (even though I never bought/use any sanitizer before). I know that hand washing is the best solution but sometimes it’s not do-able (like for my Dad who has limited mobility). We already have some canned food for our emergency supply (but I must have bought them a few years back because they are all near their expiration dates. I know canned food lasts forever, lol, but I felt better buying some fresh cans). Hopefully, this situation will be under control soon-ish — I don’t remember feeling semi-panicky when the last virus, SARS, hit but I was much younger and naive then, lol.
