Cat update. We are keeping Max (his name). We let them know on Saturday, and then went and bought some new items for him. He just seemed really happy and liked our quiet lifestyle, so I think it is a good match and a good home for him. They were very happy to see him doing so well and to have a home.

There is a Company called Believe it or Not that creates these quizes for pubs and groups around NZ...they also do corperate functions.
This is weekly on a tues night..we have loys of fun...a good meal and great company.
We came 6th last night...needed our book king for the list.

Sounds like so much fun! What subjects are the quizzes about? Sorry if you said it befoee and I missed it.

I have a post that I think/hope @Iamminda will appreciate because it reminds me of some of her previous posts. Yesterday, we went to church, and the message was about how in the end your relationships are what matters most, as we do not keep our material things for all time.

And I was thinking, even though we are all material in some way because obviously we buy way more handbags than we actually need, lol, in the end we have forged relationships from our hobby--thus something meaningful has come out of all of it.

Obviously, I am sure that isn't exactly what the pastor had in mind specifically, lol, but it just made me think of how sometimes relationships are formed in different ways. I am grateful for the nice people I have met here!

That is a great lesson and a really nice way to put it. Like you, I am grateful for the great people I have met on tpf - particularly on this thread.

Regarding multiple bags in one style, I still have two Rogues and about 4 Edies. I've also purchased about 6 hobos from MM--two different styles. So to me, I know what I want and what I'll use, and that's that. I just don't experiment much anymore.

I found a green Ace satchel with no strap for $60! It was so dry! I conditioned it with one coat of leather CPR and she immediately started glowing!

Great collection! For the longest time I looked at the white Dinky version on fos, but I never saw it at a price I wanted to pay. Now it's gone. Oh well...

You'll find it eventually. I had been lusting over the purple exotic link too every FOS and still couldn't pull the trigger because of the price. I only own it because of the most generous Alexa. She sold to me for super cheap! You'll find one done day unexpectedly. I'll let you know if I see it for a good price while browsing.

Hi all,
I want to join in on the conversation in this thread. I am going to be doing a purge of my purses over the holidays and will be giving away a bunch of nwt coach items. (I have a one in/one out policy and I don't sell on ebay anymore, too much hassle)

I will be giving away the following bags:
1. a nwt bedford hobo in cypress
2. a tattoo dinky (I might have taken the tags off of this but I didn't use it)
3. a nwt bedford hobo in oxblood (again not sure if I left the tag on, but I didn't use the bag)
4. a never used proenza schouler diagonal zip hobo bag in black with a croc embossed print.

Why am I giving these bags away? I have been on tpf for almost 13 years. You ladies have seen me through a move to Michigan, the death of my mother, a divorce, and a rebuilt life. I am deeply grateful for this forum. And I would rather give these purses away to someone who would appreciate them then throw them in the goodwill bin and have some ebay seller fish them out. PM me if you want the purses. I will pay shipping. I will try to dig them out of my closet over Thanksgiving break.

How very sweet and generous of you to give away brand new bags.

It all started because I couldn’t find the Decaf Sugar free Maxwell House F Vanilla at the two Targets near me in almost 3 weeks (can’t find at supermarket or Walmart either). I use a couple spoons instead of using sugar and creamer with my brewed Decaf. Finding decaf is not easy sometimes, anyways, DH said I should just check Amazon. DH buys everything there (lightbulbs, socks, presents for me and work, lol) due to convenience/laziness. What do you know, I found it on Amazon and at the same price as Target (actually no tax) so I ordered two 4-packs. I also started looking at brewed ground coffee there and found one that I used to buy but the stores no longer carried. Seattle’s Best brand decaf. So I bought one. Now I am kinda interested in trying Amazon brand decaf — mostly good reviews. I have been drinking Starbucks decaf for a couple of years now I actually tried (suffered through some, lol) a dozen decaf brands available and liked SB, Peet’s, Kirkland, Seattle’s Best, Illy (most expensive) the best. I did not like McDonald’s or Dunkin Donut brands

Yup so I returned it. Fast forward thanks to the death of that phone I have a smaller phone. Then this little beauty went on sale cheaper than I bought it the first time so I bought it again. Lol. It fits my new phone!
