Miss Syren too — hope she is ok. Need to look at the SW stuff. Speaking of SW, not sure how hardcore you are, lol. I watched the new Mandolorian series last night (DH’s second time since he watched it the first night)—pretty good. I am not a huge SW fan but DH is so there are some “mandatory” viewings in our family (like the new movie coming out in December)

We signed up for Disney+ too. Lol in the long run it’s cheaper and we don’t have to waste shelf space on DVDs. (Our justifications for it lol)

I hope you guys will love him!! I didn't know a single neighbor until I started catching our neighborhood ferals. Being a homeschooling SAHM left me with little socialization until these crazy cats started showing up. Now neighbors have been donating food/litter/$ to help control the population. I've started seriously considering turning this into a real rescue program soon. Just last week my FedEx guy asked if I'd be willing to take in a bunch of donkeys they found about a mile from our house, poor things were matted and starving. I'd like to find a building with at least 5+ acres and build something but might have to wait until my youngest DD is a bit older.

Donkeys? Poor guys. I wonder how they got there?
It’s amazing what you’re doing with the feral cats in your neighborhood! I started feeding these two cats that started hanging out in front of our house. I guess they weren’t getting food from the neighbor next door who feeds a bunch of cats. I want to catch them so I can take them to get neutered, but I just don’t have the space or time for their after care.

My latest acquisitions from all my bag sales (and one gift)! The LV Montaigne MM in black empreinte, twist wallet in Rose Ballerine (Anniversary gift), and a cles. And now I am done for a while! I was tempted by the Pochette Metis in Rose Poudre (pink) but I opted for this classic black beauty. It’s my only plain black bag at this point!
I'm ready for the rest of my bags to sell so I can have more closet space! I don’t really have a good place to put my “for sale” bags, so they are taking up valuable space on my purse shelf.

This is so beautiful Sarah! I haven’t seen the Mm size in person. Is it about the same size as a Rogue or like a speedy 30? How do you like the Twist wallet?

Reason # 358 why we need LT back — to run our annual guess who is the Sexiest Man Alive contest. I forgot all about it till I saw the announcement. Good choice (although tough act to follow after last year’s SMA, lol)

I love cats! I have 2 & they are so easy. Just keep a clean litter box and feed them & you’re good to go! We can go away for the weekend and there is no need to worry, they basically take care of themselves. Older kitties tend to be super chill and lovable.
I have a 9 year old boy and he is the sweetest boy. He loves to lay in my lap & take naps in the sun. I’d definitely recommend adopting an older kitty.
I recently adopted a kitten after my 12 year old boy passed & he is a handful. He sprints around and plays until he passes out. He recently discovered my MK puffball keychains and decided they would make suitable toys. It’s a good thing he is cute.

Aw thanks. No because I was walking all around downtown for a festival that eve and was outside the whole time. The next day when I discovered it I had already been all over downtown for lunch, shoppinng, etc and then discovered it walking to dinner. Soooo I don’t even know where to begin. I just hope someone else is enjoying it.

I hope someone found it and was thrilled too! That's a great way to look at it!

That bag is so cute. I have seen that the clear bag trend was happening a while back--it probably came from these clear bag required venues, but how fun they can be stylish, right? lol

Totally agree about the aesthetics part of the bag. I don't want something simply functional and only have one of them to use, I mean come on! lol How boring is that?

Cat comes tonight! eek! I hope it all goes well. It is a great plan and will help us a lot, but I am still kind of wondering how it will all go. I am sure we will love it, but it has been so long since I had a pet.

I hope all of you love the new kitty or you know right away to give him back. It's been a while for me, but all of my cats were very cuddly, and easy to care for. Like others said, you can leave them overnight with food and water and a litterbox if needed, which is a huge plus. I can see how having an older cat will be easier and harder in some ways, but I think it is a great way to test out to see if pets are right for you at this time.

Hi TO. The bags didn’t have to be clear if within 4 in by 6 in (or about the size of an adult hand). I have a couple of very small crossbody bags but they are a tad bigger like 4 by 8, etc — I just didn’t know how strict they were at the venue. I think if you had a bag that is not “ok”, you would have to take it back to your car.

Thanks for your second post — I appreciate your kindness . Like you, I don’t have a glamorous life but really enjoy my bags (they are pretty much my only “indulgences”, my hobby of sort, lol). It may seem silly to change/use my bag for a 1/2 day only but in some ways, it makes the experience of carrying it more special (at least in my mind). Guess one should try to find and appreciate the little joy in life wherever and whenever possible.

I love your discussion with TO on changing to a fun bag when you can. I agree. That is why I have taken to just going ahead and changing bags every couple of days without feeling weird for not carrying it longer. My mood changes quickly, and it is fun to know I have a small collection to choose a different bag for that mood.

I had to do the clear bag thing for a college football game. I so happened to have one from DSW that I got free with an umbrella with a shoe purchase once. It worked perfectly. I measured my smaller bags, and other than my smallest one, they were too big by an inch or two to meet the size qualification--so clear bag it was.

Isn’t it fun to change into and enjoy our purses often? Let’s be honest, a purse is first and foremost a functional thing to carry our things around. In theory, we only need 1 or 2 (crazy but true). Since we here all have many purses, it is mostly because of aesthetics (just being real) so why not enjoy the aesthetics of our purses more often? At least that’s what I tell myself, lol.

I didn’t want to buy a clear bag for the game last week but I didn’t have time to look. I have been toying with the idea of buying this more fashionable clear bag from Amazon (recommended by a TPF friend) but didn’t want to spend $30 on it, lol.

Finally, I think it’s a great idea for you to try adopting a cat — will teach responsibility and provide some additional fun/companionship.

Yes! So fun! I love changing bags, and I agree with you that it is for aesthetic reasons. Of course we want the bags to function well and make life easier, but I know I wouldn't have tried and come to love any kind of flap bag if I didn't find them so lovely. I'm glad you're both (and many of us) enjoying and embracing it. We have so many beautiful bags to enjoy. I finally took pictures and posted my newest ones in the your new coach thread.

Can we talk cats? We have no pets so this would be new. We looked at an older cat that someone is rehoming, and he was so sweet. He would be really easy as he is super calm, but I can't decide if we are ready for having pet responsibilities since we are so used to not having to deal with all of that. Help!

I've had cats for decades. Honestly, if i were to go into the typical dog vs cat debate i lean on cats... (had dogs my whole life fwiw ) they are pretty simple, some can be terrors don't get me wrong, but that applies in everything right down to humans

I have also owned purebred cats(ragdolls) and had rescues. Main thing with cats is they need to be respected and yes all animals deserve that i just mean cats can be well.. ever here the term dogs have owners, cats have slaves.

Most cats like some hands off time. do not tolerate much rough behavior. Sure some odd ball does but generally speaking here. I also find females more standoffish less cuddly, exceptions exist of coarse i am just going by my collection over the years, we do well ODD does have one very affectionate female who was a rescue but i found my females were never like her more my males who were cuddle bugs and massively docile.

Technically, my only remaining cat is my oldest's he adopted her as a kid... he is really "her" cat if you know what i mean but i chose and purchased him. I'll see if i have a pic, he's a blue mitted ragdoll... about 17lbs of adorable, laid back fluff.

Simple care rules with cats? maintain clean littler, offer multiple scratching places, trim claws... cats are easy housepets in my opinion, i keep mine indoors i had barn cats but that is a different ball of yarn imo.

Hi Iam, I love my croc Sophia, too. The hardware is so lovely and it's got purple lining on the inside which is awesome every time I open my bag.

Today we're learning about the letter g--we're making "g is a gum ball"! They're not quite done but I'll show you when they are finished. Kids are loving it!

Yes, DD is very lucky. She loves the simplicity of the Borough style so I've put them away for her when she's ready to use them. She's already decided not to buy any bags and just use mine. Over the weekend she was showing much appreciation for the Longchamp backpack and large tote we've already given her, so I've kind of spoiled her for beautiful bags already.

That's so sweet. I think my ODD is sad i am no longer buying bags, she liked borrowing and getting mine lol.
