By the way, the cost of hiring someone to tear down and dispose the deck was $2K. And they probably would've burned the material anyway because the wood used isn't salvageable.

You wouldn't be allowed to burn it in California. I would have wanted to burn our old tax files. I had to pay to have them shredded.

Last week, we noticed someone had broken our gate. We hadn't heard anything but it looked like they purposely smashed it in. We just had a new one built.

I remember your post about the chalk Parker. I love that bag, too. I guess I am questioning why I want a Parker when I already have two Dinkies and really enjoy carrying those bags. Do I need more? It’s that brass tearose turn lock that I really love.

Yes, that tearose turnlock is so lovely! In case this helps, Dinky is a much more easy going bag which you've probably already gathered. I love them both.

I’m really happy with it and I know I’ll enjoy carrying it (seeing as DD still has my navy Court bag. Sometimes I just want an older bag for running errands eg., recycling centre, garden centre, thrift shop drop-off). The leather is very smooth. I really like how the top part kind of folds down when it’s hanging on my shoulder. I’m off to give it a bath now but I’ll have pictures to show later.

Congrats on finding a vintage bag! Wow it is in great shape, but I look forward to your rehab! ETA: She looks great, and especially with the pink SLG! Enjoy!

Thank you, TO! I haven't tried on the Parker for awhile but I will try to do so just so I know. If I want one, I'll have to hunt it down. Sometimes that's the thing that tells me if I really want it or not.

This is one bag silhouette that I think looks better in person and photographs weird. I was surprised when I saw one IRL for the first time, it needs to be seen in 3D lol It’s not my fav but it’s not as bad as I thought it was.

With that being said I’m not crazy about how the tea roses are attached.

I was wondering how this looked in person. Bags have been more beautiful than pictures so far!

Going a little crazy! But we're excited too! Thanks for asking. In the morning, it's tough for me to figure out what to do first, so I'm trying to focus on little things first and then on from there. We have movers coming on June 3 although I am boxing some things that are really important to me or some things I am definitely taking in my car like jewelry. DH has taken a couple trips to Georgia to move some belongings for us like my mom's china and other things. We have some stuff there already, and we have a furnished bedroom until our stuff gets there.
Black cardigans--yes! Black shoes--absolutely. Every time I buy a pair of shoes that aren't black, I seem to return them!! What's better than an LBD than a black skirt???

Your move is so close! Have fun setting up your new home! I hope it is a good time even with the initial busy stuff.

Hi Coachies! I am NOT buying, just drooling! I went on the Coach site to request a replacement tag for one of my rehabs and WHOA! I saw the butterfly print for the first time. So pretty and looks really lovely on the Dreamer. If I ever get anything in butterfly though it will be an SLG and when on sale/clearance.

I love the butterflies! I haven't seen these before.
