Finally took a pic of my Mother’s Day sale purchase. I ordered the viper room charm to go with my sunflower Rogue [emoji1] I think it’s very fitting and fun. I beat myself up pretty good when I purchased this Rogue but now I’m glad I did because using it just makes me so happy!

I’m quite pleased with my new to me bucket bag. It’s more practical for me and even though I admire the pretty Parker, this bag I’ll carry on the weekends and while running errands so ultimately, I’ll use it more (which is the point of all these bags, so I keep telling myself).

I love black clothes as well-tops, pants, dresses, cardigans and especially shoes. My three favourite Coach styles (Sophia, Borough, Rogue) I have in black. I should have bought a black Dinky 24 but the hardware was not brass so I had to give that one a miss.

Going a little crazy! But we're excited too! Thanks for asking. In the morning, it's tough for me to figure out what to do first, so I'm trying to focus on little things first and then on from there. We have movers coming on June 3 although I am boxing some things that are really important to me or some things I am definitely taking in my car like jewelry. DH has taken a couple trips to Georgia to move some belongings for us like my mom's china and other things. We have some stuff there already, and we have a furnished bedroom until our stuff gets there.
Black cardigans--yes! Black shoes--absolutely. Every time I buy a pair of shoes that aren't black, I seem to return them!! What's better than an LBD than a black skirt???

I hear you! I think the Parkers have a very Lady like feel. They’re just pretty! That’s why I want one lol

I sold off most of my evening style special occasion bags. I have my rose gold Cassidy but it feels more appropriate for the Holidays. This leaves me with my black patent Lex flap, which is a great dinner bag but she’s very small. I’d like to eventually replace it with a black Parker. I sold them off in preparation for a couple of Parker bags [emoji23]

I totally agree. I love the feeling I get from Parker. I just wonder if it's too close to the Dinky for me.

I've been carrying my Madison gathered leather small bag (black, of course) for evening, or my monogram LV Eva which I adore. I would definitely say DH and I do not have as many dressy events compared to when we were younger so I might wait for the next one and buy a bag (if necessary) for that at the time.

Moves are challenging but you have all the important, personal things looked after so I think the rest will just fall into place. Are you going to take your handbags in the car with you? I did that on my last move but had considerably less then.

And I do love a beautiful black skirt for special events!

I think the Parker would be perfect for cocktail events such as you described. We are definitely leading a more casual lifestyle now, but as our friends and relatives' kids grow older, I imagine there will be the weddings and baby showers we went back to in the day! This year there are a few retirement parties coming up so I'm going to try to get better use from my current dressier bags.

I might take a few like my first edition black Rogue and some of the MM bags. But like you, I have so many more bags now!
