Oh the struggle! I was just going to congratulate myself on 30 days of no bag purchases and no temptation by Coaches recent spring releases. Now Brahmin has launched their spring items and they want to take all my money. [emoji31]

ML, would you say that Roots gives an accurate description of the dimensions of a bag? I am very interested in a tote but the picture makes it look skinnier than the dimensions imply. I need a tote for work and want one that will last.

Hi C, I think the dimensions are quite accurate, at least within 1/2”.

On the left is my small Grace. According to the website (mine has white stitching, the newer ones have black stitching), the length is 12.5” and is 9” in height. That is pretty accurate with my actual bag. I included my new Gracie on the right for comparison. She’s wearing a Joe Fresh kitty fur ball purse charm.

The website says it’s 5.5” in depth and I’d say that was pretty close.

I hope this helps to set your mind at ease regarding your tote choice.

No, you can't. They aren't online. When they have sales on bags, you have to go into a store.

I bought my glasses at the store. I was considering waiting and then ordering them later but they don't like to sell to people who don't have a record of buying from them, and I hadn't bought anything there for about 2 years previously.

That's great that you fell back in love! I've been carrying this Henri Bendel for the last 2 days and discovered I really love it despite being too small. I've decided to force myself to carry a small bag at least 3 times a month.

This is a really great bag! I like that it doesn't have a big old logo in front like the Gucci. I completely missed out on HB bags.

Thanks! Thanks for mentioning Gucci. I never saw this as a replacement for a Disco, but now I realize it is a similar size and shape. I guess I really don't need a Disco.
