I’ve been sick the last two days so I haven’t been eating much of anything. I have been soothing my throat with Hot Toddies. What a magic drink.

Sorry to hear that feel better, Friday i was gone the whole day with a migraine. Thank goodness my mum was off work otherwise no one would of been available to watch DGS.

How could I forget Momoa?!?!? Oh he is so good looking. Excuse me while I wipe the drool from my face.

In all honesty, 2 is my limit. I’m such a lightweight, but at least I am a cheap date! I can’t do alcohol unless it doesn’t taste like alcohol [emoji23]

Oh no!! Feel better soon!

Right? Fun SLGs really complete the bag ensemble.

That would be so fun!! Vegas, anyone?!

That's proof that some men get better with age.

That is so weird because we would have said the same thing about my mom/dad, that mom would have lived longer, but because she got cancer he outlived her 11 years (even with many heart issues that came up a few years after she passed away). I am sorry. I know it is kind of strange when it happens that way--with certain health concerns it doesn't come as a complete shock, but is still kind of hard to fully understand. With my dad, it was kind of interesting because he had all of these interventions to help with the heart issues, however he ended up dying while in a stent procedure. I think you can only have so many interventions before the heart tires out at some point. I always felt like at least it was a peaceful way to go, and that at the same time he was willing to do the procedure in the chance it could extend his life (willing to take risks).
Life is uncertain and full of surprises good abd bag. With our parents it's always hard. ((Hugs))
Parkinsons would be so hard to deal with! :-(
It was. I was spared most of it because we live in different countries. My parents kept info from my brother and he kept info from me all in the name of protecting/not worrying each other. A very loving, yet strange thing to do. When I finally figured out the reality, I was mad, sad and grateful. [emoji15] [emoji28]

Doing okay. DD had an ultrasound today, heartbeat detected folks! so probably will be a keeper she'll be due late summer.

Bag sold! it's sorta in person, you can do what is dubbed "porch pickup" so you don't have interact with folks. It's a wonderful way to buy & sell stuff.

Yeah, 6 total. 2 Roots, 2 Coach and 2 Longchamp. Sold all my other bags. Have some SLG's of coarse but that's it for bags. I just don't use them and your right my arm numbness caused by carrying things on my shoulders/crossbody kinda kill most options regardless of my opinion on them.

Congrats on the sale! It’s great that you’ve narrowed your collection down to bags that are all used and useful!
Glad to hear your DD and baby are ok! Is your DDs health a bit better since her recent scare?

That's why I don't assume I will outlive DH even though I am much younger and healthier.
What happened to your dad gave me chills. On my last birthday, DH had a major heart attack. It was a complete shock to us as he had no history of heart problems. We were traveling, in a hotel, and almost didn't call 911. He thought he was just having a muscle spasm in his back. He didn't have any of the normal symptoms. Even at the hospital, they didn't suspect it was a heart attack. They didn't do the EKG until right before they were ready to let us leave. We had been at the hospital for 2 hours by then. He only had 20% function at that point. They put in a stent and everything went well, but our lives changed forever.
Oh how scary! ((Hugs))

My parents kept my mother's cancer from me at first. Then my mother sent me a long email to tell me. I guess she felt it was better putting it in writing.

Don't get me started. I had the same conversation with UPS and Macys over two separate instances.

If I hear "it shows delivered look harder" (didn't know I would have to look in a stranger's house down the street) or it's still out for delivery, you don't have it yet (then why I am calling you with merchandise and an order number from another customer one state over? Am I psychic and have nothing better to do today than mess with you?) I am going to send out the mafia.

So glad you were able to get your mistake fixed with a few phone calls. Mine took the graciousness and honesty of a stranger and a trip to the local mall to say, "See I have this woman's stuff and no I don't have mine."

Turkeys!!
After an hour of arguing and back and forth calls, the manager of the store my things were to be shipped from finally realized what happened. Just as I thought, they goofed and assigned both orders the same tracking # because the orders were both sent to them from online. Luckily they have more in stock and are shipping it overnight to me. Manager was super sweet but the 2 I spoke with earlier were rude and no help. SA even said "tracking shows it's on your front porch, did you even look?" Uhhh... yeah, that's exactly how I knew my bag came but my slgs did not.
That really sucks! [emoji46] [emoji55] [emoji35]

Thanks Sarah. I am still guilty of a couple "non useful" those LC really aren't truly but they became so pricey after they opened a store in this country i just can't part with them.

Her health is kinda hard to say, NO blood clots but she is vomiting like all get out she had severe morning sickness with her first... like Princess Kate? right down to needing medication. She actually has an appointment tomorrow am to discuss this.

SHe also had pre-eclampsia so unfortunately a whole whack of health concerns that could crop up again and of coarse this one has begun with a blood clot in the lung lol.

Bad news and then super good news! It’s amazing the different levels of customer service we’ve been talking about today. Received my metallic berry turnlock crossbody today and upon opening it’s the wrong color [emoji24] It shows in stock online so I did an online chat with a specialist and she’s tells me actually it’s out of stock and I can send it back. Sad. She didn’t offer to find any others in store. I called my local store and they had one! But it was on hold for another customer. [emoji24] Decided to call CS and a lovely man found that there are many in stores! [emoji38] And then he said you know what you can keep the wrong color and I’ll have the correct one sent to you!!! [emoji33][emoji33][emoji33] What in the what?! I’ve never had that happen with Coach! So, sadly received the wrong one but in the end I’ll have 2.

I am still in shock.

Here is the Platinum color and the berry will be here next week! It came with a chain strap and has bronze metallic sides. Great little bag! I’ll use them as wristlets in my work bags.
