I only have one bag (from my main collection) listed. I am so not motivated to make a decision about what else to list. Maybe next year.
I took pics of another bag to list today but then I started second guessing because I forgot how pretty the bag is [emoji23] Now I’m undecided. Hopefully I can talk myself back into listing it lol I haven’t used it in forever. It may be beautiful but if I won’t use it what’s the point in keeping it?! It’s more of a warm weather bag so I might wait a bit longer.
Don't feel bad! I sold 2 things on Christmas eve! A keychain and a vintage cosmetic case. I got more than I expected on the keychain because it was on Mercari and I overprice some things there because I'm expecting offers. The buyer of the cosmetic case thanked me for the reasonable price so maybe I should have priced it higher!
I've done that. The pictures look so good and just handling it for the pictures make me appreciate it more. There is no reason selling until you are absolutely sure. I have had a few things I've bought and sold twice.
Maybe wait till spring to see if you want to use it or not — good luck with your decision. I wonder what you all use as a guideline as to when to let go of a bag — like 6 months of not using it? Or longer? I am still speed dating my bags so technically they all get used. But I have a bag or two that I either put off “dating” till later in each cycle or “date” for just a day or two, lol. So those bags are on the bubble.
It didn’t make it into my first round of bags I listed, so I had doubts then. And my doubts were reaffirmed today when I took it out of the dust bag and said “ooooooooooo so pretty [emoji7]” haha I’ll wait until Spring to see if I want to use it.
All the bags I’ve listed I had zero doubts, they’re just not my style any longer and haven’t been used in ages. I should have listed them forever ago lol
I only have a few that I’m questioning so not too big of a deal to hang on a bit longer. Some of the bags I’ve listed I still think are pretty but I know l’ll never reach for them. So I guess that is my criteria, if I can be honest with myself that I’ll never want to use it again even if I think it is nice to look at.
