Cousin wants nothing to do with her stepmother and was supposed to be her ride to the celebration. Decides to leave her in the dust and just go get her father (stepmom's husband) from his care center and head solo.

Stepmom panics because she doesn't drive well alone. Mom finally brokers a deal that stepmom will go to cousin's driveway to be picked up on the way.

Stepmom calls back and decides she is going to Walmart's parking lot instead which is out of the way. These two live to spite each other. Last year, cousin didn't come because she didn't want to watch her stepmom (the alcoholic) drink in front of her.

Long story short, both finally arrive solo with father/husband in tow. Let the peace begin, right? Um, no.

We get dinner on the table after Santa's visit and presents and, while cleaning up, the pipe under the sink is leaking. Luckily, BIL is handy and fixes the minor issue. We spend an hour mopping up floors and shelves.

What else can go wrong? Wait for it....

Stepmom apparently walked around her house and wrapped up items to surprise gift to us while she was here. Some of the items ending up being stuff my cousin wanted from her father and is now watching them be gifted in front of her face.

The two dogs went at each other over the turkey and had to be separated but they did finally bring us all together by having an intimate moment together which was caught on video in slo mo while we all thought up an appropriate sexy song to edit it with before letting it go viral.

Yep, are we a class act family at Christmas or what? Even Stick didn't make appearance because who in their right mind can top this? Don't even try.

Wow! It took me a good 10 mins to read through that a couple times haha. Maybe Stick was hiding from Stepmom and her wrapping spree.... otherwise he’d be on his way to a new owner. I’m glad you had an eventful holiday lol [emoji23]

Hahaha! That will never happen! Whatever Coach I choose is the only Coach I get from DH. He says I'm getting my gift late but it's not a purse or anything like that. My in laws got me a pretty Paisley pattern vest and a pair of leggings. They aren't into designer purses at all. I did get one purse from them a few years ago but it was NMS. It was a satchel handbag with no crossbody strap and it was dark brown. I hardly ever wear that color. I think I gave it to my mom.
