I'm sorry to hear about my fellow islanders with shoulder and medical issues. Growing up/older is hard. Lately I feel like any wrong move will cause a problems.

Talking about keeping kids toys. Right now DS is transitioning into his pre-teen room. He has given away practically everything. I didn't mind the huge collection of little cars, etc. But, I'm having a hard time letting go of the nice, big trucks that have been part of the decor. He's ready, I'm not. [emoji12]

And in other news, my fos package has shipped. Yay!

Hope everyone has a good day.

Oh pre-teen! definitely a change... i love all the big trucks, i kept a few actually. Yay on your package shipping!

Yeah for your FOS package arriving soon. Yes, I can relate to keeping old toys for too long. I have kept DD’s nice toys for so long (probably for like 5 years in the guest bedroom, no one I know has kids that would want them, too lazy to take to donation). My brother now has little girls who are starting to be old enough to want these toys. So problem solved. It is a bit like old purse listings — eventually someone would want them.

I think all mums do a bit of it, i kept so many things then would purge and then fall pregnant again... funny enough just before my oldest got pregnant with DGS i had cleared some things again.... it's a curse...

I really didn't want to get rid of the Little Tykes cozy coupe car. My kids spent so much time playing with it.

You know it's funny we had three, well one was a step2 van for two but i had cleared out two of them, forgot the third in the back tractor shed, my oldest redid it as a John Deere coloring.. i should show you guys...

Still have my rainbow playground!! thank goodness, we had considered selling it...

I know what you mean. Our toys are all in great condition (girly toys, how dirty can they get?). Like it took me forever to track down most of the Barbie’s 12 dancing princess dolls (yes, I was quite obsessed with finding those hard to find dolls, much like my obsession with some hard to find purses, lol). We gave away many of the big items like little kitchen, train table.

 My oldest was so into Barbie... those things sure added up!
