I'm taking it easy myself as I am recovering from a torn rotator cuff--too much weight lifting. I'm mostly doing hand and arm carry right now, a light shoulder bag is finally ok. I have to be more careful about not overloading my bags.

It's a good idea to hang onto your LC, especially as it has a purpose. I agree that they are becoming more expensive.

Ouch! poor you! My pinched nerves are probably from the barn work.. to much lifting, carrying and repetitive action.. I just do my best not to overdo it.

LP's have gone crazy pricey, even the sale prices are more than i paid a few years ago and they fold so easy to store.. i have a mini in red too... i think i used it once? last year but it'll keep...

It must be the season for shoulder injuries. I injured my right shoulder when I fell on some ice on our deck a few weeks ago. Of course, i went to my weight lifting class a few days later, so I reinjured it. I'm really being careful about carrying too much weight on that shoulder.

Darn, that is to bad! ice has been a real issue here to the weather is so up/down.. we just came off real cold and snow and now flooding and rain warnings.. i give up.

Ouch!

I've had problems with my shoulders for years. First it was just my right but in the last year, it is in my left too. Both are frozen shoulders. It is only supposed to last 18 months but it has been probably 6 years for the right and it still isn't better.

My mother has had a frozen shoulder for eons... it's terrible, some weeks are worse than others..

Gosh, sorry to hear about your shoulders Eleanors and whateve. I tell you, our bodies ain’t what they used to be . I often hurt/strain myself without even knowing how I did it.

It's easy to do! my silly thumb on my left hand is still wonky from my fall in the garage ages ago.. drives me nuts because it makes the entire hand weaker.

Oh that looks so nice! i almost bought an Ace a few years ago but went with my grace bag lol!

Sorry to hear about your rotator cuff ML. Take it easy.

Ah yikes. Sorry to hear that about your RC. Def be careful with your bags and the weight you’re carrying/distributing.

Thanks, IM and BBG! I knew I was having a problem when I couldn't do up the back zipper of my skirt and make a ponytail because my shoulder hurt me so much. I'm getting physio but the good news is it's not a joint issue and I'll be ready to play golf in the spring.

E, that must have been some fall! I've realized a fall can happen just like that. After my weightlifting episode, then I fell on the stairs at work and caught myself on my bad arm/shoulder. So like you I hurt it twice. I have slipped a bit here and there on the playground when I'm collecting the children from recess so now I wear my snow boots or runners on the snow and ice, then change my shoes again.

I was worried I had frozen shoulder but the physiotherapist has reassured me it's not. Do you find your shoulders painful, whateve? Or do you have a limited range of motion?

It aches. It hurts most along my triceps, and often in my elbow. It hurts the most when I have to stretch my arm out or reach up. I have a lot of trouble brushing my hair. I like to sleep on my side, but it starts to hurt if I stay in that position too long.

I should go to a therapist but haven't. My range of motion is better, and I'm doing some simple exercises. It's better than it was. Could have been much worse! DH wasn't home, and if I broke it, I had our dog with me, and that was it.

Please take it easy my friends. My mom too is dealing with shoulder problems and she’s trying to figure out the best bags for her too. She’s been on a WOC kick as of late Bc of this.

Thank you, Chiichan! I have had really good improvement in the past six weeks.
Hey, maybe we can start buying up a new style of bag? I don't have any WOC... Oh wait, I have just one. Two more and I could have a collection!
