Hi my Ban Buddies. Just want to THANK YOU for all the well wishes and positive thoughts. My Dad did well with his surgery last night after breaking his hip on Tuesday. It has been a tough few days for my poor Mom and Dad due to his poor health and the surgery delay. He has a long road ahead — heading to a rehab nursing home next.

I missed a lot here during the last few days (bags, remodeling, sales, non hots and hots). Speaking of hots, hey House, the surgeon was kinda hot. Too bad I couldn’t sneak a picture. I may have stared a little too long (lol). I have only met one other hot doctor before (my first ob/gyn).

Anyways, thanks again you all. I hope to catch up and join in on all the fun more.

Was the surgeon like Patrick Dempsey in Greys anatomy hot? Lol the Dr that delivered DD was super hot. I even recommended my two cousins to use him for their pregnancies just so I could accompany them to their dr appts. I’m a loving cousin. Haha

Thanks for your reply, whateve. My dad is the same age and also has diabetes. I hope the recovery goes well since the hot doc said the break was atypical (I may accompany them to the follow up visit with the hot doc ). I get stressed very easily too — think the dictionary has my picture next to the word “stress” lol.

I can totally relate to the "stress" part of your message.

I know what you mean! My dad had heart disease, and after I moved him by us, my stress about doubled. It's important for caregivers to take care of themselves too!

Yes, pretty much what you said. I want one built like I had growing up, fully insulated with heat/AC in it. One push of a button and all glass opens up to screens so you can get a really nice breeze flowing in. My cats were always in heaven in that room, all the sights/smells/sounds of being outside yet they were still safe indoors.

I’m glad to hear your dad is in recovery and will be headed for rehab soon. Never an easy thing to have to go through. Take care of yourself and keep us posted on your dad’s recovery process. *hugs*
