Oh dear. That may take a while before you get your parcel. At work we had a temper sensitive overnight delivery spend a week at CdG before the sender managed to call the package back home.
I hope you get your bag soon and can do a revealfor us!

Yes… I’m not holding my breath If I don’t get any updates today I think I might have to call them up to see what’s going on.

Still no parcel… Also I previously was under the impression that FedEx is a decent courier but I had never used them until now. Now that I have experience they are really doing my head in…
I contacted them for an update on my parcel and all they could give me is a generic response about deliveries being delayed due to “internal and external events”. Yes, I know it’s delayed. How about letting me know whether I can expect it this week? Next week? Next month!?

Anyway, I should stop ranting on the Coccinelle page. Anyone recently get a nice bag they want to share? Or have an eye on a bag?

I've seen a few Coccinelle boutiques in Italy. Is it considered similar tier as Furla?

I would say they are fairly similar with regards to price and quality. But maybe Furla is slightly better known and considered a slightly higher tier than Coccinelle? Certainly Furla has been around longer since 1927, while Coccinelle is much newer having been founded in 1978.
I’d be curious to hear how they are perceived in Italy!

Yay! My handbag finally arrived! It’s the mini Colette in white.


(dust bag came slightly dirty but I managed to wash it off with just some water).

My beautiful new bag!



I love the shape of the bag! The leather is gorgeous, thick and supple and I can imagine it wearing well, despite being a white bag.



Bottom of the bag:



The inside is nicely lined and says it’s made in Italy:



The gold of the chain is slightly more yellow-toned than I’d like but it has a nice weight to it. Hopefully, it won’t tarnish easily!



However, the bag does have some quality issues (mainly glue residue), but I don’t mind as given the price point, it’s never going to be perfect (plus I got it in the sale so it was even cheaper). EDIT: Just an edit to say I managed to get rid of the white residue with just a damp cloth! Yay!

The bag also has a tendency to topple forwards / backwards when empty. It seems okay when there’s something in it though.



I might sound critical but I'm really happy with the bag overall . It's beautiful and very excited to wear it this summer. I'm already planning some outfits around it!



The bag also holds quite a lot despite its small size and is a perfect bag for every day.

Wanted to share my recent purchase.

I’ve recently discovered Coccinelle because I was wanting to find a bag that could also fit my iPad Pro 12.9”. I got the Liya in Suede, colour is “rose” I believe. It is an amazing bag. The leather is great and sumptuous with a lovely slouch to it when I hold it. The iPad does fit, but it’s a squeeze if I need to put it in with the official keyboard case. Fits fine with a slim case, and comfortable fit with no case. Just in ”case” anyone needed to know that!

It’s hard taking photos of such a light coloured suede. I’m loving the organisation inside with the split main compartments, two front slip pockets and a back zip pocket. There’s even a slip pocket externally on the back. Love it!

Coccinelle bags look luxurious. I have 2 crossbody bags that I bought 5 or 6 years ago and they still look new. The other crossbody bag, I always put it in my car (fall, winter, summer, spring passed) in case I needed it. No wear and tear, no discoloration. I am more than satisfied given the look and quality of my bags.

OMG, love this bag!! Congrats! They've managed to take a classic shape and make it stand out. (It's a shame there was some residue on the bag, but if it came off without no problem, then it's OK)

Thanks! Yes, the white residue came off with no problems. I actually had a separate issue with the chain where the large circular chain loops (I’m guessing they are there to adjust the drop length?) we’re not closed properly so the small chain kept slipping out and breaking. I had to use some pliers and quite a bit of force in the end to close the gap. So hardware isn’t quite properly finished which is a shame.

Bag itself has been amazing though, I’ve been loving it. I got some colour transfer on the leather but that all wiped off with a baby wipe with no issues. (Could also be that pre-treating with Collonil helped, I do that with all my bags).

I'm currently swooning over this bag



So pretty. But I don't do enough fancy things to warrant another evening bag. I only have one that I designated as for 'evening' or 'occasions', and even that one is just being used a couple times a month. But this is soo pretty. Love that it has both silver and gold elements in it, and love the hardware on the top handle.
