You are welcome courtneyh! I love the look and it really works for me!!!

Plus, they are very affordable even for the finest of quality...giving you lots of sparkle and beauty. Congratulations and enjoy!

I think that this sort of ring is stunning and classy. It is simple, elegant, still blingy and often even more firey than a solitare. I personally love the design of a band full of diamonds, where you see almost no metal.

I think this will become a trend. To my logic the right hand ring that we were introduced to as our second ring, will take on a life of its own and move to the left !!!! I think we ladies have worked out that what we enjoy so much on our right hand can easily be used as an er and stand on its own.

My only advice is to make sure that the ring isnt prone to turning or else you will loose the diamonds behind your fingers!!! Not that I like diamonds all the way around, too uncomfortable and hard to keep clean.

I love the look of an eternity band as an engagement ring, it's very classy and elegant. Marilyn Monroe, Jennifer Garner, and (I think) Hepburn all had eternity bands as engagement rings.

mine is about 1.25 cts, plat., and looks more like the memoire (low) setting wise, but 'looks' like the blue nile one, if that makes sense. i don't think this ring looks as nice in yellow gold as it does in white or plat. good luck deciding! there's so many to choose from, so have fun shopping! (i couldn't get good pictures w/my camera, so i borrowed these.)

I have a shared prong eternity band in platinum with round .15 diamonds, its is by far my favorite right hand ring. My girlfriend just recently got engaged and I helped her fiance (my good friend) pick out an shared prong .25 emerald eternity band for an engagement ring and it is GORGEOUS!

When I got pregnant with m son- we bought me a new wedding band of diamonds because I knew I would cut the crap out of a baby with my sollitare. I love it, and now that he's older i alternate depending on what I'm doing that day. Here's a couple of pics- I don't know how to do the thumbnail thing I'm sorry.

I have a friend who is an artist and she always has her hands in paint, clay, etc. When she got engaged, she realized she couldn't wear a solitaire because it wasn't practical. Instead, she had a jeweler design a titanium band with an embedded diamond in the center. She and her DH have matching plain titanium wedding bands, which she stacks with her other ring. It is totally unique and it suits her funky style perfectly.

In this part of the world, a center diamond engagement ring is unknown (unused!!)!!!!!!!!!

Its always 1 ring, a thick wedding band with diamond work. My mom's was in gold, and worked all around with heart shaped diamonds and paved lines on the sides. I wanted to show you but my camera couldn't show the detail.
I'll keep trying!!

yup center stone rings have no meaning and are just seen as normal jewelry. it is usual to have an eternity or plain gold band even in europe the classic engagement ring is unknown they just change the ring from one hand to the other and men and women ring are nearly identical too
so go for it if ypu want a nice eternity band is timeless and wonderfull.

I love the idea of a larger eternity band for an engagement ring and then when you are married sandwich it between two smaller eternity bands either in diamonds or maybe your birthstone or his birthstone, I think that's very pretty. I love my 5 stone band as my fifth anniversary ring but for an engagement ring I would prefer it to be an eternity band, plus you don't have to worry about it moving around, it looks the same on all sides.............

I say an eternity or half-eternity band. Either one big one in the middle and two plain bands on either side or a "medium sized" one and two skinny tiny eternity bands on either side ;)

Id say get it from Signed Pieces :)

www.signedpieces.com (click on Facets collection).

I have more than one from them and they are just incredible. I personally prefer the Raphael setting to the regular shared prong.

I wish I had a digital camera to take pics of my ring! It's got a solitare diamond in the center, but there are little diamonds all the way around, and the shoulders come up and the center is set VERY low so the diamond does not stick up at all. It's a perfect combo of eternity plus a center diamond. Hmmmm...maybe I'll get a digital cam for Xmas and then I can show you!
