I almost always hand carry this bag. I hand carry most speedy bags 😂
Though if I was going to crossbody or shoulder carry it would be fine as well. This bag is so soft and sits comfortably against the body.
The strap definitely would have been nice in the 3 piece which I prefer but we don’t get it with this beauty.
Can you try one on? It may help to see how it will work for you ❤️

Thank you for your response! It seems this is a mostly hand carry bag. I haven't had a chance to try one - just lusting after the photos and reveals from this thread. I think I will find a boutique and see if they have one that I can try on. I love the concept but curious if it will come in a 25 and shorter strap for us petite ladies. I'll keep you posted!

Hello, I am about 5ft3' and after trying on various strap lengths, I find the 2nd or 3rd hole (shortest) to work quite well cross-body wise. I use the shortest length when I just carry it on my shoulder. It turns out I mostly just hand-held the bag unless I have to be hands-free (e.g. getting grocery) then I would wear it crossbody. The leather is soft so it stays and molds to my body very easily. Hope this helps

Are you guys using a bag shaper or insert on your soft speedy? I'm wondering what it looks like without, will it sag too much and turn into a black hole? If you do use an insert, doesn't that defeat the purpose?

Also, anyone pre-ordered the canvas version? LOVE!!

I have it in my bag, but so far am controlling myself. Frankly, I'm a little obsessed with the black leather lining and chain.

This bag definitely gets different pouches when used. I love pouches for bags I want to be slouchy without losing my stuff.

Have been eyeing this bag, but I picked up the Keepall Bandoulière 35 in black Taurillion leather. So I can't really justify another similar shaped bag in a similar size. Though there is the Arizona color way! The Keepall is made from a thicker, heavier leather, and the hardware is black rather than gold. So a different vibe but the same function. Enjoying seeing all these bags and comments.

She’s gorgeous! I’ve been away from LV for awhile too but the new soft speedy has drawn me in. I think I’ve finally got my hands on the boho, just waiting to see if she gets transferred

For those that own this bag, has anyone treated the inside lining to help protect it from damage? I purchased the black one and while I have used it, this is my first bag with a suede lining. Yes, I miss the pouches too. I have many and from different brands too. When small bags wee in, the pouches were rendered useless.

It is the pm cosmetics pouch, it’s my favorite size for most my bags. I have a few of them in different patterns as I do love them. It holds just the right amount for me and doesn’t overwhelm most of my bags. I don’t generally carry small bags though. I’ve always been a medium to large bag lady. I like my stuff with me all the time 😂
And thank you for your kind words, this bag was my first soft speedy and I was glad I grabbed it before it was gone in the limited color 😊
