I am so happy to find this thread! I was online about to order the Low Key hobo and I read something about the soft speedy. I clicked over to the image and fell in love. I'm a diehard speedy fan and ordered the Noir version on Friday and it arrived yesterday! I'm so in love. I love how squishy it is and that interior color is gorgeous. I took it out yesterday with my Neo noe strap and loved it.

Amazing! Thank you so much for sharing all the details. I was looking through the internet and yours are the best pics and review i’ve come across so far :). How is it holding after almost 2 months? Have you been in a rainy place with it yet? (It’s super rainy where I live). And last question, if you happen to own a normal monogram speedy, which of both would you recommend? (I wanted the Speedy 25 in DE but now I saw this one and fell in love haha)

Hello, thank you for visiting my thread and glad you find my info helpful. It's holding up well, just like brand new :) I do take care of my bags and rotate my bags often. I am a long time speedys lover and have bought (and re-home) many speedys in the last 2-3 decades. Over the years, I use the following criteria as deciding factors to purchase a bag:
- Materials - I am a leather person so I mostly choose leather over other materials
- Shape / style / size - I need to love the shape/style/size ... or functionality is very important
- Color - the color needs to sing my heart
- Made in Country - prefer European made (especially if the price point is high)
- Fashion house / brand (I am loyal to a few fashion houses)
- Price (the price has to be within my budget)

I usually go over the above 6 factors, and if a particular item meets all 6, I will definitely go for it (and with no regrets). I hope this helps :)

Regarding Speedy 23 in DE vs the soft speedy in Arizona - although they seem to be in the similar category of bags, they can serve very different purchases.... I would be more careful to take the soft speedy to long travel (especially because it's a light color).

Congrats on your soft speedy!! I've been eyeing (or actually, salivating) over this beautiful bag. It seems the shortest position sits low -- I am 5' tall so I'm thinking it's either hand carry or crossbody (i.e., no shorter shoulder carry option above the waist)... I wish they had the 3 piece strap for adjustability. How do you normally wear your soft speedy?

Black - it's a classic and gives a warm and lux feel, especially if you like the gold hardware. The darker/tan suede interior also makes it super lux and easier to hide dirt. I don't think you can go wrong with this combo.
Arizona - the beige is one of the most neutral shades I've seen. I am a beige lover, so this bag/color is kinda a love-at-first-sight thing to me. The gold hardware adds warmth and lux to this bag (I am an Asian in my 50's so I am drawn to warmer tone). This color is as versatile as the black, but again, you have to LOVE this color, else I think black is a stunner by default.... hope this helps :smile:

Thank you for sharing your photos and experience!! I really want to convince myself to purchase - LOL. May I ask how tall you are? Do you mostly wear crossbody? I am 5' tall so am not sure if it will overwhelm me. I do have a Speedy 30 monogram but I can adjust it shorter for the shoulder strap and don't wear it crossbody as it feels bulky. But the soft speedy looks great slouchy and crossbody from your earlier photo!

I almost always hand carry this bag. I hand carry most speedy bags 😂
Though if I was going to crossbody or shoulder carry it would be fine as well. This bag is so soft and sits comfortably against the body.
The strap definitely would have been nice in the 3 piece which I prefer but we don’t get it with this beauty.
Can you try one on? It may help to see how it will work for you ❤️

Hello, I am about 5ft3' and after trying on various strap lengths, I find the 2nd or 3rd hole (shortest) to work quite well cross-body wise. I use the shortest length when I just carry it on my shoulder. It turns out I mostly just hand-held the bag unless I have to be hands-free (e.g. getting grocery) then I would wear it crossbody. The leather is soft so it stays and molds to my body very easily. Hope this helps :)
