I wish I could help but I still don’t have my P9 so I can’t compare the two 😭
But the soft speedy is definitely worth getting. It’s beautifully soft and lightweight. It really is a gorgeous piece 🥰

Oh wow, thank you~. I had no idea. I was interested in the P9, (but not exactly the price) and happen to come across the soft speedy. I didn't even hesitate to buy this bag. I am truly content with my decision on this. It is everything I have been looking for.

My SA showed me a P9 the day while I was purchasing this soft speedy.....I had a very hard time resisting the P9 indeed....as a long time LV and speedy lover, I think both styles are very unique and versatile at the same time! I am of no help here ops :)

I agree with you. Although I love my P9 in the Monogram print leather, I am not happy at all with the number of bags that I now see coming out in that same leather. I feel like it dimishes the uniqueness of the P9. The new ones will be bigger bags at what looks like a lower price point. I was interested in the turquoise, but now I worry that they will do the same thing, release other bags in that leather/color for less. I really hope that I am wrong on this. The new soft Speedy is a great bag and although not cheap, no where near the price of the P9.

I really loved the look of the black out P9 speedy coming out in Jan. That has black hardware and the soft speedy has gold hardware. They are both 30s and both leather. Decisions, decisions!

I’m not sure of the direction of the P9 but at that price point; I want exclusivity, the moon, and the stars, LOL.
