I got it on Poshmark. There are nice finds on Tradesy and EBay for sure but I haven’t gotten even close to as low as prices compared to Poshmark.

that's a steal.....and I agree the lining isn't a deal breaker, esp if you can sew......let us know how you like it when you get it
Reporting back! I have them all in my possession now! Some send the bags so nice, all stuffed in a box that fits. The poor Cupid was literally folded like a shirt! It was so sad. Plus with the holiday Monday it sat at the post office for three days. The Cupid is the most disappointing just because it was kind of a treasure hunt find since it’s a more unique color. Whoever had it didn’t trash it but they definitely didn’t give it any lovin! The torn lining will be really easy to fix. I don’t know much about how leather ages so I can’t say exactly what they did wrong (maybe sunlight? Never conditioning?).
The best surprise was the dark brown MAB. It’s sooooo lovely. The leather is really great and the bag is in wonderful condition. The handles are dark from use is the only thing. It looks so nice dressy or casual. I love it! I wish it had a strap. The paisley lining is so pretty and thick! It’s definitely my favorite. My mom keeps trying to buy it from me haha. I’m like “I love you mom but NO this one is mine”.

that MAB will be hard to carry without the strap if you have a baby. One of the reasons I lost my love of those bags is the handles - while they fit on my shoulder - weren't comfortable to carry on shoulder.
Is the cupid glazed leather? Doesn't look bad in the pic. Maybe if you stuff it really full it will help with any wrinkling.
I’ll keep my eyes for a matching cheap MAB, maybe someday I can snag a strap like that. Any suggestions for substitutes?

no suggestions for strap....maybe look on ebay for someone selling one? would be easier if it was black
if you look at the pic on this thread of my pink cupid it has some lines in it....kinda like wrinkles.....your leather in the photo looks a bit more grainy.....think of it being like the coveted Bal bags

Yes, it would be easier if it were black! I just watched a YouTube video on Balenciaga leather and I get it better now. Thanks for that tip! The green MAM I got has the same kind of leather but is in better shape (I just don’t think it got used as much as an everyday bag).
Ah thank you! I feel kind of silly now for my way of thinking! I watched a thorough video about taking care of Balenciaga bags and I see how the leather of this Cupid is just the same. Knowledge is power, thanks everyone [emoji813]️
BTW if you haven't owned a bag in this color family before, you may be surprised how versatile it is, esp in fall/winter
You know, I wouldn’t have been aware of it without you pointing it out, but you’re right! I’ve already used it with whatever outfit I had thrown on with zero planning. Before I got it I would have figured it would clash horribly unless I tried hard!

Beautiful bags! I think the Cupid looks really nice actually.
For crossbody straps you can find them on ebay, or even have a cobbler make one for you. Personally I don't like how the MAB looks with the strap, because of where the hooks are it makes the bag twist. It works better on the MAM. I just use mine on my shoulder with the handles and it's really comfortable.
won't clash with much....orange maybe? good with black, brown, grey.....probably ok with most shades of purple or pink
