Influencers and Hermes

I am going to say something horrible. But she needs to sell a bag or two and spend the money on a stylist. Every time I come across one of her videos my urge to fix her hair is overwhelming. She is not an ugly person but the things she puts on herself - clothing hair and makeup - drive me bonkers. I also think if she were not so incredibly unlikeable maybe those things wouldn’t bother me so much.
I am admittedly relentless on this woman, because of the exact things you’ve said that I’m guilty of saying myself. She’s extremely unlikable and has zero style. You’re correct, she’s not ugly. She’s got great skin, and she’s got so much going for her. And as others, myself included, has said, she has no style. All of her photos are the same ones where she’s wearing 4-5 ill fitting outfits and dresses and, again, quoting myself “those hideous platform Ugg boots”. It’s her arrogance that makes her so unlikable for me. She’s constantly posting sales on clothing, but then doesn’t show herself wearing any of them which begs the question did she buy them or just make us believe she did. As much content as she used to post you would think we would have seen a plethora of great outfits like so many other influencers. The only time I’ve seen her looking truly well put together is in a black dress and black boots and a Bottega clutch. I think she posted it in her most recent Q&A. She looked great, but her hair needed a nicer style.

I’ve seen she’s been having some health problems, and I really do hope she gets well. I don’t have any ill intentions against her. It’s the “character” that she’s portraying on instagram that’s so annoying.

As someone with cancer, I can really understand how there are times when a person has no desire to use anything at all. But this is such a thing that in that state of mind, a person also sets aside the idea of making money from these desires. My thoughts about Tanya are still unclear for me.

I've seen a lot of people who, through social class ascension, become arrogant and position themselves based on what they have. So, Tanya might have such a background too. Otherwise, I might have trouble expressing the awkwardness in her style. Or maybe she's just an expert in marketing, making her living by advancing in that way. Maybe those bags weren't even really hers? Perhaps the life she shows is completely staged? Who knows, were we there when she bought them?
Hugs to you , wishing you healing and better health!

I can't imagine leaving all her bags in a bank vault, does it even have proper temperature control and air flow?
Also is crime that bad in Texas that bags need to be locked up like that?

Style + money spent on luxury is a mismatch. I think for someone who was able to obtain so many QB, she would at least wear a couple of R

Not where she claims to live. It’s a very very affluent area where the Hermès store is. I’m wondering how she’s getting on with the SA’s there. I have a little first hand experience with them and kindness is very foreign to them all. And I don’t know why she just didn’t buy a big home safe (like where you would store firearms) and keep them at her own house. You can also get closet door keypad locks (like I have) installed that are more convenient and very secure. Coupled with home security and ring cameras that nearly everyone has now, her possessions would be more than safe. I guess I didn’t know that bank vaults had safes big enough for that many handbags. I only think of safety deposit boxes.

Also read on her Q&A that’s she’s recently been interviewed about her bags again and will post it when it’s released and she’s lost count of how many bags she has. Which she’s said before when she was interviewed about that Hermès lawsuit. 😒 Give us a break. She knows exactly how many she has because she posts pics of every single one each time she does a Q&A. It’s the background for her answers.

There's also a high probability she's lying about the bank safety deposit box. As she tries to rebrand as a classic influencer and not just Hermes road maps, she wants to push a narrative of "oh I don't even wear them anymore, HERE'S the brands I actually wear now!"

I don’t follow influencers, but I do read this thread. I have a few bags and looked into renting a bank vault for my collection for when I travel. Clearly, someone who has relocated from Miami to Texas probably for economic reasons, who no longer shops at Hermes, for economic reasons, who grifts the public charging $5000 for “insider” not so secret info to make a buck, dishonestly, etc., does not rent a bank vault for purses. A storage unit somewhere, maybe. A bank vault, ha, no way. Most likely her shed out back, if she did not just sell all her stuff already. I wonder what her next grift will be.

I really don’t think the bank has big enough boxes for her bags, unless she’s renting several of them. But for that amount of money buy a climate controlled home safe. They weigh over 1000 pounds, bolts to the floor, has humidity control, electricity, fire proof envelopes, etc. The bank vault is the silliest thing I’ve heard.

That is exactly what I was told at the bank, there are no boxes big enough for even 1 bag, HELLO! She is full of it.

I am convinced something happened with her marriage. All the bags and items bought during the marriage could be up for dispute. Who knows. But something big definitely happened!

Yes Tamara confirms in another video that the color is ardoise. She also admits that you could put it on your shoulder “but not really.” :giggle:

Yikes, I’m a similar age to her and I’ve got to say … going on TikTok to proclaim herself one of “the cool girlies” is about as cringe as it gets. It’s giving …

This is nothing compared to some influencers who pay people to pretend to be buyers and have a "sold out" products 😂

Aaand now influencers have started staging “spontaneous” paparazzi-style videos, where they’re asked what they’re wearing in the street (*outfits linked of course*)

I always laugh when I hear H influencers start their posts/vids "I wasn't going to talk about 'X' but soooo many of you have asked for it or asked about it..."
