What does the bonbon do? Asking seriously. I am influencer unaware.
They post interesting pieces that are popping up on Hermes sites globally. As I understand it, this is pretty time consuming monitoring all websites. Then, to assist Hermes shoppers who are interested in purchasing these items, they provide the item ref # and pricing details so that person can weigh whether they want to reach out to their SA, and the SA has all the info to help with the transaction.
I’m not afraid to say that I check the page pretty regularly and have been able to find pieces I want my SA to transfer in from another store that are otherwise not on the US website. It’s super helpful, and quite frankly I was surprised she was doing all this work for free for so long. IMHO, it’s quite a lot of work, at all hours of the day.

I’ll also add, she’s still doing all this work for us, just one detail is now held back behind a paywall. There’s still a LOT available for free that she’s doing

I agree with literally everything you've said. There's a lot of work that goes into what they do... I've definitely been able to snag things that I wouldn't normally have - my SA has transferred several things as well from other stores for me. To lump this $2.99 charge with Tania is dumb imo. Pricing is literally the only thing withheld. I imagine dealing with people on the internet made them recognize the need for some filter...

Absolutely this.
I've always appreciated their curation and have also found pieces on their site and was able to quickly secure them just by sending the sku to my SA right away.
They aren't a typical lux influencer making ads and teasing unboxings. It's solid information even without prices.
The subscription price is minimal and I'm happy to support them. Frankly, they could charge more and I would pay.

Chiming in as another voice of agreement! My home store doesn't get the most stock, so as much as I do enjoy just browsing on my visits, a lot of my work with my SA is me identifying pieces out there that aren't currently in-store so she can either order in from a different store, order for me off the website, or reserve for me when they do come in. Bonbon's content has been super valuable so I can identify what's out there as an option and get on a list for it asap since the items she shares are usually "hot off the presses." Just this week I was able to reserve the Acinonyx Jubatus ring in my size for when it comes into my store after seeing Bonbon's post and texting the image to my SA!

🗣️ PEOPLE WHO BUY HERMÈS ARE NOT AFFECTED BY THE ECONOMY 😂😂😂😂 *laughing myself silly

Sorry for shouting, but my goodness, how dumb is that answer? Is this a brag on her part? Also, please be aware, I buy Hermès (long time H client to be precise), and I am affected by the economy. I’ll wager a bet that most H clients (at least the one’s she is pandering to, to buy her inner circle) are affected by the economy.
You’re right, even if some people are not affected by the economy, I think these days they are more aware of their surroundings and to carry or flaunt very valuable items around is seen by some as tone deaf when the economy is not doing well. I noticed that some very rich people are starting to curb some spending.

I love when a certain youtuber always jumps on anything Hermes without any knowledge of the brand and clearly bitter because she can’t get one. It‘s getting ridiculous at this point. Of course she had to make a video about the bum walmart birkin 😂
It’s all about clicks- everyone made a video about the ‘Walmart’ birkin debacle. I’d like to see how these compare to the real thing.

I find it interesting that we have an Australian YouTuber that doesn’t make much money given what they said their occupation was, and is a Hermes wannabe which is fine but goes and bags out other brands and talks rubbish.

Hé is an Influencer and a reseller. Of course he wants you to think going in store is difficult and service is bad and your oooh so better to buy from him.

That is marketing 1-0-1 🤓
I agree, he's got a lot of reasons to convince people not to go into H stores. I actually get less judged when I go into H than other stores. I'm not in sweats but I'm not super dolled up.
