Influencers and Hermes

Out of morbid curiosity I checked IG ... she is actively posting her extravagant lifestyle ... quite frankly I think she and her husband should be required to pay restitution to their tenants. What they did was pure exploitation. Disgusting.
Couldn't agree more. I'm curious why styledbyshishi's former tenants haven't filed a civil lawsuit? I'm also disgusted with the fact that Hermès Madison invited such a person to their grand opening! Like seriously... and VCA to preview the new perlee collection?! Why would any brand associate themselves with people who literally burned their tenant's pets alive!?

The former tenants are probably low income and don't have the resources and/or knowledge to file a suit. They also might not have English as their first language and not be aware of renting laws.

The people responsible for those guest lists might not be aware of the situation.

I find this to be very disturbing. I can’t imagine any one (human or pets) burned alive. That’s horrible. Hugging my fluffy boy a little more.

I have become quite jaded to the whole “influencer” thing. It’s so bad for mental health. I stopped following all of them and stopped watching any of those YouTube unboxing videos. Maybe it’s because I’m getting older…

It’s like slap on Hermes PR face. They should have known better!

... more like getting wiser! None of us know who these people are yet someone like styledbyshishi, who funds her luxury goods by being a slumlord and BURNING DOWN people's homes and subsequently killing their pets, has 100k+ followers and paid partnerships with various luxury brands. Am i missing something?

If she were an actual celebrity no one would associate themselves with her. Apparently Hermès doesn't vet the influencers they invite to promote the brand. I'm so utterly sickened by Hermès inviting such a person to the Madison opening.

I don’t know if anyone else feels the same, but the more I see influencers with Kellys and Birkins, the more I actually don’t feel like carrying the bags or even want the bags. It used to feel like carrying a B/K was being part of a secret club, and now it feels too “mainstream”. I find myself gravitating more towards H bags that are less popular or even vintage designs (I still love the Vespa).

Anyone know or follow this influencer @miss_faubourg who also works at FSH?
I wonder what’s her story. Is she like M. Costa? And why would she advertise her profession like that? Wouldn’t she just be inundated with requests for appointment or bags?

She works in jewelry & watches, can’t help with bags inquiries etc.

She is an American living in Paris, so that plays into the account I think. There aren’t many American SAs (she honestly might be the only, I’m not sure) in any of the Paris stores, so I would imagine American tourists appreciate working with her in store and keep up with her on social media. I just think her account allows her to have more clients by being more approachable since she shows the behind the scenes of the store and some of her personal life. She is not the only Hermes SA or employee with public social media accounts, but she definitely seems to be the most followed one.
