hi! i don't think that you should feel bad about wearing the ring as often as you wish. i don't think that the questions necessarily come from jealously though. it seems that any time someone doesn't behave in the way we think they should many are quick to say their actions were jealousy motivated.

i think that many don't have such items and are just curious. that does not excuse their lack of polite social interaction but does not make them jealous or vindictive. many simply are wowed by what they consider a large jewelry item and say more than they should.

i have had comments made to me that made me feel uncomfortable but i tried to understand that it was just out of the realm of the person who made the comments. some day the very person who made the comment may find themself to be in the position of the one wearing the item. when that happens they understand.

wear the ring as much as you like and make sure to insure it. :tup:

wow...she seems like a very rude, blunt and prehaps bitter person. i say wear your ring everywhere. if you are in an area that's kinda a bad area..which i don't think you'd be, but sometimes we have to travel through..spin it around. it's your amazing E-ring...i saw it too on the pics thread and OMG...it's STUNNING. how can you NOT wear it. this person seems to like to rain on ppl's parades. insure it def. and enjoy it!

i wear mine all the time (except sleep and showers of course) hehe. :yes: :heart:

I've just taken a look at your ring on the pictures thread - its beautiful!

Maybe the reason they said it as well is that it does stand up quite high - maybe they just wonder how you don't get it caught on things.

Iv'e been married a long, long time, but, I can tell you, I wear ALL my jewelry everywhere:nuts: Thats what it's for!! My engagment ring and my band are four carrats total and I work in nursing, I have insurance on my jewelry, so, enjoy!! People are funny, and rude, never mind, wear it in good health!!!

I agree - I don't have any jewelry that I don't feel comfortable wearing on a day-to-day basis. I wear all of it, just not at the same time! I've known women who've bought beautiful jewelry, then had the jewelry copied with CZ in place of the diamonds. Then they put the real thing in a safe and wear the copies. Huh???? Not sure what the purpose of owning the real thing is!

I love to wear my jewelry! Some pieces are really more suitable for special occasions, but believe me, I bring it and bling it. They make me happy! And isn't that what our jewelry should do for us? How other people react and behave is their issue, not ours. I feel strongly that we should be happy for one another, not jealous, petty or spiteful.

WOW :tdown: jealous Much i would wear it who CARES ABout her she rude next time you see her i would put the ring right in her face and make sure she see it and when u talk use ur hands so that she can really see it. But u seem like a nice girl am not i would make her so mad and green with envy lol :devil:
