I love those, too! While the Mayra wedges are hot, the Irelands are hot AND practical--how can you go wrong? Keep us updated about how comfortable they are for walking/standing long periods of time.

i saw those shoes in the catalog and loved them. are they comfortable?

Okay, so I wore them all day today. The first few hours were relatively comfortable, but the last few hours my feet started to hurt a bit. I don't know how much of this is due to the fact that I'm not used to wearing heels, or how much is due to the shoe. They are built fairly narrow, which may be a problem with those of you who have wider feet.
