I purchased my DE Neverfull mm in August last year. I was assured by my SA, who is also the manager, that the cracking issue was resolved. He stated that if I ever had any problems that I could exchange the bag.
Well I just happened to be switching over to my Neverfull and decided to do a once over, and what do you know........cracking!!!!

I am so upset as I love this bag but I just can't carry her knowing that over time it is only going to get worse. I plan on going to LV this weekend to inquire about exchanging for either the mono or azure. I pray I have no issues with the exchange since I was told I wouldn't. I'm going to call first to make sure my SA is there before making the 45 minute driven.
For those of you that had the cracking issues, and successfully exchanged, how long did you have your bag prior to exchanging? It's been almost 7 months since I've had mine and I'm worried that they will tell me it's wear and tear. Which it's clearly not as I have only carried it a handful of times.
I'll attach some pics so you can see the cracking.

I'm sorry but I can't tell what you mean by cracking (by looking at the pics). Are you talking about the creases that have formed on the area of the handles where it bends most? I always thought people were talking about cracking on the sides of the handles on de NFs!

Gosh I'm so sorry to hear you're going through this. If it makes you feel any better, my SAs said the same thing- to bring it in within a year after purchase, and they won't even question it if it's the straps cracking on the sides. I always wondered why it's limited to just a year unlike some other bags. Don't worry too much and confidently ask them to go ahead and see what they can do (I wouldn't bring up the exchange guarantee part until after they tell me something).
I'm sure a lot of tpf'ers will chime in to help (is everyone asleep but us?!)

It looks like normal wrinkling to me. Cracking is where there is a definite tear past the glazing to the underneath. She is beautiful. HTH :-)

This is how my mono NF looks on one of the handle. I had it for 4 months. The winkles are so heavy. Should I ask about it too? I am also afraid they said is wear and tear. But is only on this one tab area. The other sides haven't winkle. I also saw other brand new bags like the speedy b with the side winkles like this. So I don't know if is the nature of the leather when bend will winkle. Let me know what your SA say.

Man .. I am sorry that is horrible to hear and I say better to be safe then sorry you know even if it is just yucky wrinkles those can turn into cracks and better to deal with it now then before the yr etc hopefully you are able to sort it all out with out too much trouble issues or pain .. good luck !

???? I do not see anything other than normal wear on either Keepall. I have one of each and have had them for years...mine look similar, but I figure, they can't look brand spanking new forever.

I hope I am over reacting and the wrinkling/cracking on my bag is normal. I checked again and noticed very very slight , what could be, cracking through to the sides.
I'm feeling a bit better hearing from you ladies! Thank you!!! :)

They just seem like normal patterns for leather breaking in. I should show you guys what my neverfull looks like after 7 years with gentle use... Those creases just formed over the months and years, and just part of the leather aging process.

I have looked at the photos too and it looks normal to me too - what you would expect of leather when it is being bent to get in to a bag? It is going to have some lines through it, same as when you wear a pair of leather shoes and they get creases in the sides where your feet bend as you take a step? I would think this is pretty normal?

Thanks for your responses ladies. I'm feeling more relaxed now and may just give it some more time to see if the cracks/creases worsen. I can live with it as it is now but not if it gets any worse. That's my concern.
