I'm new and need your opinion on these LVs

My husband thinks the Papillion looks like a long pencil case.

I think the Papillion is nice, but I would vote for the Ravello because the shape is more classical. It is a classic baguette-like shape that can be dressed up or down.

i think it depends on your friend's style. the papillion is a nice casual bag and can be dressed up or down whereas the ravello is more professional-looking.

my vote is for the papillion though.
