i believe it is considered a leather material.

coach stores wouldn't carry this normally. i'd say the best chances are in NY's flagship, and Vega's coach, as that's were most of the exotic bags go, and new york...because well, it's new york!

sorry to disagree but can you find another brand higher then coach, that sells a pyton bag that size, for that price? or cheaper even? if it was plain ol' leather i'd agree....

i don't think anyone said anything about quality.

i personally don't like python- it grosses me out. so i wouldn't spend my $4000 on that bag- i would go to a different designer. and, to me, coach has great quality- but i wouldn't spend 4k on it. there are just other bags i would rather have, for that price, than another coach. but that's just personal preference.

gee, i would like to see a sample of the material at least. A swatch would be nice like they have for new cars at the dealerships.

actually, not in this particular instince, but I do think the quality of Coach has gone down a bit in the last year. I wish I knew what was going on with them. Not to say I don't love them, Im just sayin' in general.
Go ahead and shoot me down for it. it's ok.

i've been through the other subforums and it seems almost ALL the quality has gone down this year...there are an awful lot of complaints- and everyone seems pretty shocked about it!

Girlfriend,

you are not the only one thats thinks this. I know women/men who have been coach users since the 70-80's & see the quality declined. I think I will always love coach !

Actually I have seen a python bag for that size that was a brand higher than Coach. Forgive me at the moment because I can't remember the name. I was in Neiman Marcus in Mazza Gallerie though.
