My husband gave me my engagement ring and I bought his band. I don't think chivalry is dead at all. You do what you want. If it was 1955 it would be a different story, but women have come a long way since the days when the groom buys both rings, shoes had to match a purse and wearing white after Labor Day was a sin...it's personal choice and Missy chose to buy her fiance's band.I thought the groom normally pays for both wedding rings, or has chilvary died?
