Thank you! I actually saw your wedding pictures in the other Wedding Chat thread. You had a beautiful wedding and what a fun idea to do the black and white color reverse rule for guests.

Hi dear, thanks for noticing my photos.. Yeah I have a fun night!! It was great and a very unique concept in my country context.. Many thought it was impossible to do (a whole night of reception style). No way was what my guests said. In the end, everyone enjoy and the feedbacks are great.

YAAAAAAAAY! See that timeline FLEW by! I cannot wait to see all of these!

Just got back!

My ring was resized.... My finger shrunk a lot or something because I'm actually now a 4.5 ? I really really don't know how that happened! I was measured by 3 different jewelry stores when we ordered as a 5.25! So I had him size it a smidge over 4.5 and under 4.75 just for a little room. My knuckle lost a little bit of skin putting on the sizers and got swollen but now it fits quite nicely and DF is happy that it's not so easy for me to take off now.

My band and my gift from FMIL wasn't ready but DF got his band!

You are from Hkg right? I LOVE LOVE going to weddings in hong kong with the clothing and dresses and cake before dinner! It's completely fun and different. I love it! I'm so glad you had fun. You and your DF, I mean DH! make a really adorable couple!

I took my bridal shoot in HK, but I am from SG actually. LOL. But we have an almost similar wedding concept. The chinese style, gatecrashing in the morning, tea ceremony, night seat down dinner. That is why I said when I shift the traditional seat-down concept to a 50% standing up reception concept, I face much trouble. LOL. But glad everything turns out fine. You saw my HK bridal shoot (those with the nice scenary)? I was freezing cold as it was 14 degree celsius and I have nothing inside except inner wear. No thermal wear, nothing. LOL.

Anw, just to said that when I first see my HK bridal shoot photos, both DH & I felt that we are kiddies getting married. We really look like kids!! LOL. :D

Thanks sweetie for your kind words

Thank you everyone! I can't wait to see the band as well. It should be done tomorrow and the spacer will be made then too. Some time during the week my jeweler agreed to meet me in the city to help me avoid the short commute I'd have to take to get down to meet him. yay!

But until then! Just wanted to share my wedding present from my FMIL. She was very intent on purchasing me some jewelry for the wedding and didn't know what to get me. DF and I didn't know what to say because I really didn't want any jewelery from her because I didn't want her to spend any money on me. But she fought with us and really told us that it was something she wanted to do. So on Mother's day yesterday she gave me these:

.80 tcw H si1 diamond studs!!! I had been looking at a pair and DF tipped her off and told her that these were something I'd wear everyday and never take out. If she spent money on me he wanted it to be something that I'd wear daily.

Me wearing them, picture taken shortly after receiving them:

She was so cute! she said she saw a pair of halo style studs and told the person there that it looked like her daughter in law's ring. I was going to save them to wear until the day of the wedding but she said that us being engaged is close enough for her and that she wanted me to start wearing them sooner to show that I really liked them. She thinks if I don't wear them, I don't like them.

What a cute story! The earrings, like your ring, are stunning!
