I have not bought from their ebay store but from the regular site and have not had any problems! Everything I received was brand new, perfectly wrapped and packaged, in a box, not like Macy's idea of throwing a bag in a plastic bag!
It's funny about the reviews they have, and not only on the ebay store, also on the regular site. I read a review in the ILD site for a bag, and the customer was saying it was a fake. I don't remember what the bag was but I think it was a coated cotton bag. I think it was a matter of the customer not being up to date with the newer collections and how the materials have changed.

Hey MaryBel! Where have you been, girl? Happy New Year!! (And I agree about those "reviews"...LMAO. Dooney must get a giggle out of the reports that they are selling fakes out of their own warehouse.)

I was out of town visiting family during the Christmas break so I was easily pulled away from the computer (and the tpf), but I'm back. Sadly came back with a cold so now I'm just wishing for the weekend to take a nice rest. If I didn't have to work I'd be in bed already.
The problem with the ILD is that they don't advertise that they are the same company, so a lot of people might think they are fakes if they receive something that is different to what they have seen before since they think it's a 3rd party company. If they knew it is Dooney, they probably think it twice before claiming it was a fake. So silly...
Hope you feel better soon! So many people are sick with colds and flu right now. And you're right about ILD; most people probably have no idea they are Dooney's own storefront.

I saw on another thread that you had an outlet trip planned. That should help distract you from your cold for a little while!

Thank you GFs! I did have a great time over the holidays. I's nice to see the family. I only see them once a year.
I did a quick visit to the outlet. The original idea was to pick up a twisted gathered phoebe in teal that I had on hold at coach but once I was there, found a lot of good stuff that by the time I was done, all my money and time was gone, so I did not even stopped at Dooney
Shopping made me feel a bit better but not by much. My ears got all congested with the flight so everything sounds horrible in my head.
Anyway, I think I'm banning myself from the outlets
I'm not going back (unless they reduce the prices, in that case I'll go for the price adjustments). I got 4 regular size bags plus 3 small bags and a pair of shoes! yikes!
As soon as I get them out of the car, I'll take some pics.
