Omg that is awful !!! I ordered two Hamiltons from them and actually one came and the box was ripped open but both bags didn't have any damage thankfully. I hope you write corporate and rip them a new one for their horrible packaging !

I think they use recycled boxes and old tape. I had a box come from them that was in terrible shape, too, with holes in the side and tape coming off. Thankfully, the contents were okay.

I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I have called Lord & Taylor to get a free return shipping label (last time they offered that they tried to charge me after and I had to threaten them before they finally refunded it). I won't get credit for weeks as they take longer than any other company that I have dealt with. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company and lastly, I have called UPS to file a complaint.

I believe the package wasn't properly done from start, but then UPS made it worse. I have received packages from Lord & Taylor before and they were properly packaged. This was not!

UPS is asking me to hold on to the package so that they can inspect it (ridiculous because that means I will have to wait even longer to get a credit back). I think pictures say everything.

Uncool UPS and L&T! :nono: Luckily, my package from L&T was in good shape. I would be heartbroken if my bag was packed like that.

I'm so sorry this happened to your shipment. Hopefully, it will be rectified expeditiously. My L&T shipment just went out today, so I'm crossing my fingers it doesn't look anything like yours when it arrives. :(

I was so excited to get this color. When I called them, the rep did not even offer to ship out a replacement! I don't want to order a replacement at this point, even if today is last day of discount and nobody else is selling this bag/color. SO frustrated.

All my boxes from L&T came in fair to bad shape. I was lucky that my contents were unharmed but some of my boxes that came were worse than yours! I had an invoice half sticking out of one because the box was completely ruined. I don't know what kind of boxes they use but it's awful. My favorite boxes have been from when I order from the coach outlet online. Their items are packed so well and the boxes are so sturdy that I can store tons of books in them when moving with no problem

I agree about Coach outlet online. I have been saving those boxes for when I move lol
