Oh I stand corrected lol
They dont play her on my local station and in NYC stations. I wonder if they play her in ATL since Tip is in ATL
The only song I've heard of hers on NYC radio was Fancy. However, someone's song playing on NYC radio doesn't mean much since the stations get paid by the labels/management to play tracks. I don't know if it was a part of the playlist or if it was part of the DJ rotation like when Cipha or Enuff are on...I'd catch it occasionally since I don't listen to radio often.

The true test of if she's being taken seriously in hip-hop is where she's featured. Aside from TI and some pop/techno-dance tracks, has she been invited to feature with other hip-hop artists? Is anyone rushing to do a track with her?

In any event, Remy Ma is back and given that she has the best verse on that awful French song maybe she can encourage these "rappers" to go back to being MCs.

Some of my favorite Iggy pics. I think she is uniquely pretty.

Yeah...well... I agree with the criticisms in this thread, but I don't think she gets on my nerves like she does with some of you. I'm just "meh" about her. She's just another manufactured popstar to me.

I don't think she purposely mocks the "southern drawl hiphop" thing, I just think she's very naive. I'm sure T.I. taught her a lot, she raps like she's trying to sound just like him. The whole thing is rather forced and unnatural, but then again, a lot of chart topping "music" is.

Agreed 100%. No denying the southern rapper thing is annoying, but to me it's comical/pathetic. It would be like letting Miley get your worked up lol.

In my area only pop radio picked up Fancy. And now they have picked up Black Widow with Rita Ora, but hip hop radio never picked her up other than playing a Fancy remix every now and then.

I think she would look less "White Chicks" if she would just switch up the hair (go dark... maybe a super dark reddish brown with a side part... or something). And darken and thicken her eyebrows. The hair is the main problem IMO.

Snoop needs to grow up...

I'll give Iggy one thing... in my opinion her body is awesome and very natural looking IMO.

She proudly showed off her Booty while filming a sexy pop video with singer Jennifer Lopez.

But it seems even when in casual wear, rapper Iggy Azalea likes to accentuate her now world-famous derriere.

The 24-year-old rapper stepped out make-up free on Thursday in LA, in a pair of eye-catching neon shorts that showed off her figure.

Perhaps it's no surprise that the stunning rapper topped Maxim Australia's list of the hottest one hundred women this week.

However, it appeared to backfire for the magazine after the rapper hit out at the Australian division of her record label for letting the men's magazine publish an old photo of her posing in lingerie for the special edition cover.

The curvaceous beauty, 24, launched a Twitter tirade on Friday, expressing her disappointment over the executive decision that saw an image that was taken back in 2011 and for a different publication used.

Addressing her record team she wrote: 'This morning I see you've allowed Maxim Australia to buy an image from a 2011 Complex mag shoot and put it on the cover.

'I think it's awesome anyone would want me on the cover of a magazine, but there's a right way to make that happen and the Australian label clearly aren't respecting my wishes.

'A magazine cover deserves an accompanying photoshoot not a reused image.'

The blonde bombshell was sure to make it clear she is not ungrateful to have been named the hottest woman of the year, however and added: 'Maxim Australia, thanks for the love and I'm sorry no one asked me.

'I would have love to have given an interview & done a shoot with u guys.'

My issue is mainstream media is salivating at the bit wanting to crown her as the queen of rap (hip hop). Not because they really listen to her music or know anything about rap or hip hop but because she has the "look" they want to push. The problem is in order for them to crown her they need true hip hop fans to co-sign the narrative and they are not having it. The only fan base willing to hype her is the fickle pop crowd who now want to play at the "hood" routine.

Yep.

There was a good editorial that sums it up after that terrible Forbes article. Let me see if i can find it.
