She might be the typical Rapper we are used to but I like her music! I see her more like a young 24-year-old woman who likes to rap so where's the problem? It's always a matter of the point of view.

Too clueless to realize Snoop didn't apologize to her. What a dolt.

I don't know any other female hip hop artist who needs their hand held to this extent. Like she's some fragile butterfly. She can't go away fast enough.

i don't necessarily think she's ugly but definitely not gorgeous but beauty is in the eye and all that jazz.

If you go back a few pages you can read the issues taken up with her music. To sum it up she's fake and appropriating a style/culture that isn't her native. She pretends to be a down south rapper when she's anything but, TI writes for her and she's adopted his flow rather than having an authentic one of her own. That's what makes her wack. Plus I agree with others on the "slave master" line.

But if listening to her music makes you feel good that's all that matters.

She said that? :shocked::nono: I don't follow her music so I never pay attention to her lyrics, only hear her songs sometimes on the radio in the car, and they get on my nerves when I do hear them.

she is getting way to much hand holding, she cant hold her own. She needs to stop referring to herself as a rapper or hip hop, they don't even play her music on the urban radio stations. She should stick with the pop lyrics and songs and stay in her lane, hip hop culture will eat her alive, her fans don't even really get the hip hop culture either they just bop along to beat not paying attention to her lowkey racist and offbeat lines that TI and others are writing for her and using her as a money machine, a gimmick.

Yeah...well... I agree with the criticisms in this thread, but I don't think she gets on my nerves like she does with some of you. I'm just "meh" about her. She's just another manufactured popstar to me.

I don't think she purposely mocks the "southern drawl hiphop" thing, I just think she's very naive. I'm sure T.I. taught her a lot, she raps like she's trying to sound just like him. The whole thing is rather forced and unnatural, but then again, a lot of chart topping "music" is.

Because you probably view most music as entertainment, and that's fine. I can def appreciate some Selena Gomez or Katy Perry or mindless pop for what it is, but most of those artists aren't representing something they're not. I view Iggy the same as Miley. She came out trying to be all hood when we all knew she grew up Disney and had everything given to her. It's fake. Some people don't respect that while others don't care.
