I'm going to go with the Chanel Reissue - Vlad planned the nicest day for my birthday and I don't think I'll ever forget it. He got us a car service for the day and started with breakfast at my favorite place in NYC. Then he took me to the spa for a couple's massage and facial, and then after an early dinner, the car drove us to Chanel and he told me to pic a bag I wanted! He had talked to them earlier and they had the Reissue I loved held for me, and that was my bag! I had been wanting it forever. After that we went to a NY Yankees game. Anyhow, it was the best birthday and Vlad really went out of his way to make the day so special - and that bag means so much to me!

But now I kind of think I want to save my first Birkin. I am stuck. Ha!

I LOVE your story, sounds like my ideal birthday since I too am crazy about NYC, NYY, the spa and designer bags. :smile1:

I would probably save my Speedy B 30 in Empreinte. My husband got it for me in Europe on a work trip and he was/is proud that he got me a bag that I adore so much. Whenever we go into LV that particular bag gets attention from the Sales Associates and he gets a kick out of it. :D

It would be so hard to lose my collection, but if I could only save one it would for sure be my Hermes Kelly. Not only is this my dream bag, but it by chance became available the day my daughter was born so it has an extra special meaning to me.

If the idea was that I could only have that one bag forevermore, it would probably be my gold Togo Kelly as it's the most versatile bag I currently own. However if this was a fire or something and I had insurance on everything, but THEN could only have one bag, I'd let 'em all burn and get a black matte croc Kelly :devil:

my chanel duo color flap. the date code inside and on the card exactly matches my birth year, birth month, and birth day. i felt i was meant to have that bag somehow, plus it's practical. it's not my fave, but the one i'd keep if forced to pick.

my speedy paillettes bleu! it was suuuuch a whirlwind purchase, and it's le, so i cant easily replace it and the experience was just amazing.

i had just gotten out of a hellish job for the summer, and my husband (he was my fiance then) took me to vegas! i was so excited. we got upgraded to business class, which was awesome, and i listened to simon and garfunkel's "america" like a million times flying over the country. we landed and we got this gorgeous corner room in the little mandalay hotel (i think it's called the delano now).

one of my closest friends was living in california at the time, and she came to visit. we got to see a beyonce concert and it was one of the best performances i have ever seen. words cannot describe!
((side note, we went to get margaritas and the bartender was making small talk with us, and he asked where we were from. i said that were from nj, but she DEFECATED to california. SO EMBARASSING))

So, it's the last day, and my husband was bummed because he had lost some money gambling, and we walked into the crystals lv store. the sequin speedy was on its way back into the case when i asked to hold it. i loved it, checked the price, and got dragged back to reality.

we go back to the hotel my husband wants to go back and gamble some more. fast forward an hour, my husbands now doing really well with his games. we are about to leave, and he says "lets go get your bag." I. Was. Floored. we had to take a cab there, we bought the bag in like ten minutes, came back to the hotel to get our stuff, and zipped off to the airport! we got upgraded again on our way back to nj!

definitely carrying my sequin speedy tonight!

Ohhh, very hard question! I guess I would have to say my Black Birkin even though my Chanel's are really near and dear to my heart.:love::heart: I have to say the Birkin because it was a reward to myself some years ago for attaining the largest commission in my career at that time so it has some sentimental value. Also, it was pre-loved and I got an AMAZING deal!!
