If You Could Have Only One Hermes Bag, A Kelly or a Birkin . . .

K25! I need a shoulder strap. Plus I don't carry too much around with me and I've found that this size is the best for me proportionately.

I think this is a non-question because I think most contributors would attest to Hermes being a slippery slope. I started with a Kelly Sac à Dépêches with no intention of acquiring more Hermes bags. It is impossible to believe that I now have eight very different styles, all with different uses.
But this question has made me think. If I could only have one, it would be the K SàD.
It's black box, but I use it freely; it's not the most useful to pick up and go; it has a subtle je ne sais quoi that makes it the most special and that is why it would be the one I would have to choose.

Kelly 25 retourne, no question, that's my number one choice. Second would be a birkin 25- the strap is a big plus for the 25 but the b25 is really cute and the only birkin I really like. I don't carry much on a daily basis and don't want a heavy bag.

I’ve yet to seen one in croc but even in calf it’s probably my favourite H bag. Chic, clean lines and a wide shoulder strap.

I would faint for one in rose Scheherazade porosus

I like this question. If I could only have one H bag that means I can have other bags for other things. Therefore the bag I love to carry the most is my b25s. Very close 2nd is K25 because of shoulder strap, but it goes up my arm so much easier than a B25 when not using the strap. There are other bags from other brands that can be used similar to B30, and other totes for B35, and other brands that have cute classic shoulder straps.

I voted for B30 because that is my first love and just perfect! But I’m waiting for a K28, so my opinion might change later this year.

Originally I voted 'something else' thinking I'd choose a Jypsiere or K35 Then I had a think and realised that what I would really like eventually is a B35 OR 40 in Swift so I voted for B35.
I'm specific about the leather because I like smooth leather in Birkins and I like them really floppy.
Also I know weight can be bothersome in a handheld bag and Swift leather is certainly a lighter leather.

At the moment my perfect bag is a K25 because it’s all I have 😆 but honestly I can’t imagine needing more space. What do people carry (if not for work)? I suppose a full skin care regime if I wanted to freshen up?

If a Kelly 25 is more than roomy enough for me will a Birkin 30 just be ridiculous and huge? I wish the B25 had a longer handle drop.

one bag, i placed something else because i find that a bolide 31,does SO MUCH. that said i could also suggest a kelly 28 those two bags for me perfect !

I would choose either a HAC 32, which is just the right size for me, bigger than a B 30 and smaller than a B 35 or a Bolide 35 for a shoulder option. The Kelly was my first H love several decades ago, but I don't find it very practical.
