90s is so in! Have you been to forever 21 lately? Nirvana shirts, acid washed and stonewashed jeans and fake-o doc martens are on the shelves. And those poncho things we used to call rugs were there a few months ago.

Makes sense to pull out the OG riot girrrls.

Wow, I haven't been to Forever 21 in months; to the best of my knowledge, there is only 1 in my state, and when I make it to that mall, Macy's and Bon Ton are my priorities.
I still have my purple Docs from the early 90's; sounds like I need to find some purple polish so I can wear them again (I used to skate in them, so the toe on 1 has no color).

You will be so in. :D

I don't get the direction i'll openly admit that, the one dress reminds me of the sort kids wore in the 70's as toddlers. That said the repeated comments on the models weights? hmm seen way worse and of coarse as someone who is naturally thin/petite i have a differing perspective, i do dislike the sullen attitude but then i have kids lol been there done enough of that thank you very much, i don't need to see it on the brand of purse i buy models.

I'm nearly 30 and after reading that article my opinion is that Coach wants my mother's business and my college-aged sister's business but not mine. I want something a little more contemporary/"of the moment" than their classic styles...but a work tote from a collection that's supposed to evoke Courtney Love? Just no.

It's not a matter of perspective - you're not in the same situation unless you're also starving yourself and doing possibly permanent physical damage to your body and especially your internal organs. Bodies that don't get enough food start feeding on themselves, and no can tell me that's healthy.

We're talking about women and girls, sometimes under 16, who are forced by the fahion industy to become "hangars" because the designers want the models to come as close to disappearing as possible so as not to overshadow the clothes.

I am quite aware of the fashion industries push to be to thin, that said it IS a different perspective on what one considers thin and I can give an opinion basing as someone who has been told all the things said in this thread simply because of my size.. as i said i have seen much worse i did not find the models shown to be anorexic skinny and all the other comments that followed, there have been improvements not that they don't have further to go but all shapes exist and acceptance for ALL sizes is hopefully the long term goal.

Yeah, no backsies.

That's why I can't bring myself to buy any of the bags from the C.O.A.C.H collection. I had neon bags and accessories back in the 80s and early 90s.

Then again, I saw those clog-like shoes on the website and I was tempted. Those were another thing I owned in the 90s, but they were so comfy!

I thought that looked like a fake website so I deleted the emails.
Clogs are the bomb! Hate to bend over and tie my shoes any more.
