Well I'm awaiting the one from Neiman's - I sure hope I like it - when I bought it, I didn't notice the difference but I was so excited to see it available, I might have missed it.

About a week ago, I started a "cast your vote" thread having to do with the Audra vs Alexia - From the feedback I got with that question, The Alexia is apparently much, much bigger that the Audra. You can check out the whole thread on this site.

Yes, it most definetly is. The bottom of the Audra hangs to about my waistline, whereas the Alexia skims past my butt/hip area. I am 5'8". It is also wider, with a wider strap. The strap on the Alexia is shorter the than Audra, as more of the bag makes part of the strap, if that makes any sense. Also, one thing that I did not care for on the Alexia is that it has the whip stitching on the bottom seam of the bag...I thought that with time, that might begin to wear out faster than the rest of the bag. The Audra has a regular sewn seam, with the wider middle buckle supporting the weight you will put into the bag...keeping the bottom of the bag more rounded. The Alexia does not have this, so even if you don't have a lot of stuff in the bag, it still puts weight on the seam and makes it bottom out in the areas that the stuff is.

Clear as mud? LOL

Thank u so much guys! It really helps a lot.. I recently made an impulse buy when I saw the bronze Audra in my NM. But I like the shape of Alexia better through the picture, but when the SA told me Alexia is much bigger... I gave it a second thought, and decided to buy the Audra, but I still have some reservation 'bout that. But I'm really loving my Audra though! It's going to be my everyday bag...

I have the Audra in brown and I love it!!! I think that the Alexia is too big for me, as I am pretty short 5 foot 4. It is gorgeous, I cannot say enough about the Isabella Fiore bags that have come out this fall/winter.

I haven't had a chance to use my Audra yet, as I just got the Alexia for comparison on Friday.

When I send the Alexia back today, I will be free and clear to fill up my Audra! It's sitting on my dresser....and I look at it all the time. I am loving it more every time I look at it. It really is a gorgeous bag. :D

The one on NM is the newer one too. If you guys looked from earlier posts, there was the one with the pic I showed and the one that NM currently is selling. I don't like that one as much b/c of the logo on the bag instead of hanging.

Still....how long are they going to still offer it? I wish they would still offer the Quilty Pleasure hobo....:sad2:

Speaking of which....to any current owners out there~is the leather the kind that if you run your fingernail on it, it will show a scratch? Or is it more like the treated leather on Audra bag that won't show scratches?
