Identify This LV

Hello all,

First time posting, please forgive me if this is the wrong place. I bought this LV bag in Germany from a reputable secondary-market luxury boutique. The owner of the store told me it is Marc Jacobs era, possibly 2002 (?), featuring the Stephen Sprouse leopard pattern fabric. She also told me it featured in a Vogue shoot way-back when and - I may have misunderstood, we were talking in English but German was her first language - that it was a runway bag/LE bag. It comes with a black dust-bag with matching red leather label.

It is incredibly well made, every stitch is perfect, the quality of the leather and hardware is excellent, I have scoured it for a date label but I can't find one. I have googled and googled, even contacted the luxury bag department at Fellows Auction house and everything has come up dry. I came across this amazing blog and was wowed by the knowledge possessed by everyone here! Can someone help identify the bag, and if possible point me in the right direction to getting it valued. I like the bag very much, I bought it because even in my limited knowledge of LV bags I thought it unusual. But, I am at a time in life when I would rather have the funds raised by it's sale than it sitting under my bed being unseen and unappreciated!

Cheers,

Balletboi

Howdy everyone!

Haven't posted in quite some time but I need your assistance. Just scored this vintage Speedy 25 Blue Epi Leather handbag from eBay (seller is a reputable Japanese retailer that sells authentic vintage designer handbags.) They affirm that "all of their items are guaranteed to be 100% authentic and genuine brand" but this forum is my go-to since we have some tried and true experts here. The serial # is SP1915 (pictured below.) I can attach more pics but didn't want to OD on them.

Any help is much appreciated. ❤️

I guess you should also post it in the authentication thread, we are not allowed to help with that here.
Looks neat though.

Here's what she gave my in terms of description:

Slouchy/little-to-no structure
Monogram canvas
No zip across the top
Front flap pocket
She thinks it had structured handles along with a shoulder strap
It fit easily under the domestic first class seat
Said it's not too "purse like" and called it a satchel

She asked the lady about the bag - her husband bought it for her years ago and she didn't know the name. We've scrolled through everything on the website and can't find it. I'm leaning toward a discontinued design or one that's been re-imagined.

Any help? It's driving us nuts!

Thanks for this! My mom said the front flap is a little different - not this buckle style but she couldn't tell me more than that.

She also said it was a bit more east-west vs north-south. My mom said it looks kind of like this but that it's VERY slouchy monogram canvas - and with a front flap pocket vs this zip. I think - from her descriptions - it might be in the briefcase family.
