I was actually googling for the artsy empreinte and stumbled over this beauty:
So far, i only found out it "could" be from the onthego-collection. But did LV even ever produce the onthego like this or is it just a fake?!Would be a shame, I felt in love with this one!
And if it was ever produced: i know it was a limited collection, but is there any chance to find it online?

so I’ve just spoken to an LV associate who said the Onthego tote will be launching very soon in empreinte leather. Maybe this one could be a sneak peak?

There’s so much going on here lol. This isn’t a “bag”, it’s a vintage toiletry pouch that someone added a chain to and painted the outside leather black. Would definitely recommend having it authenticated
It’s an old Compiegne 23 that has been transformed. The leather has been re-dyed and someone added hardware and a chain strap.

The Pochette Compiègne 23 has been discontinued for almost 30 years so the original retail price is pretty much irrelevant to today’s market. It’s hard to tell what this DIY-altered piece would be worth today. Maybe $100? A lot of collectors don’t want pieces that have been painted, dyed, or transformed. To give you a good idea of value, go to eBay, search “Vuitton Compiegne 23,” and narrow down to “sold items.” That will give you actual prices paid by real buyers.
