Does anyone know what this piece is named? The date code is VX0490 so if this is real, it is from the 90's. The seller said she couldn't remember the exact style name it had been so long since she had it. It's so different I love it!

Actually, handles are wrapped in plastic and removed prior to sale in the boutiques
Items shipped from eLux often still has the plastic on the handles

I was in LV last week and saw another SA showing a limited Damier Canvas bag that was her last one, on hold, and it had been shipped from California (all the way to SE Texas). The price was 1700 from the post it note I had seen, but it was not on the shelf. I was in a rush to get out because my hubby was on the way so I had to conceal his birthday gifts (after waiting for the heat embossing and all, I barely made it!), so I didn't get a chance to ask. Anyone know? Thanks in advance.
Oh, and if I can remember, it was a large bag, with the gold plate and double straps. It was a beauty

I have spent about an hour searching TPF and Google, and I haven't been able to find an answer. I have two vintage LV trunks, and I would like to know more about them. Will LV be able to tell me when they were manufactured, and to whom they were originally sold? TIA!

I was thinking it might have been the Hampstead GM however, that sells for $1410. Are you sure it had a gold plate or a buckle? Because another large bag that sells in the $1700 price range is the Griet; it has the LV buckle in front. Hope this helps.
