I don't need anyone to identify this bag, but I do need to identify the color. I posted this in the Epi Color Reference thread but didn't get a response. The date code is 1999. Is this the Cipango Gold? First pic is without flash, second is with. TIA!

It could be the Cipango Gold or Fawn...I have difficulties distinguishing between the two. Do you have pictures of the inside? Maybe the alcantara colour can help clear things up.

Ok, so I snuck and took this pic with my iPhone when no one was looking. *Sigh* It's so hard to stay focused at work when it's Christmas season and so close to vacation!

Hmmm this is the alcantara of the fawn Epi colour:

But yours seems to be closer to the epi leather shade...let's see who can confirm whether this is cipango gold or fawn.

Yeah, I'd have to agree. The stitching and lining coincide with Cipango Gold. Also, it seems much close to the pic of the Noe as opposed to the Fawn Speedy. Thanks karman, evolkatie and noe noelie!

Trying to figure out what the name of the bag I looked at yesterday was. I foolishly forgot to ask and now I really want to know, so I can ask about it on tPF. It is epi leather. Its a clutch shape and size, with the triangular clasp and a thin matching short strap that can be detached . I think the price was either 760 or 790 at Saks. Fingers crossed that you LV experts will know. Thanks!:smile1:
