That's why I mostly just admire the metallics. Too scared to actually carry them...
Excuse me? Did someone summon the metallics freak? The vintage metallics leathers are as lovely as all the other vintage leathers. I have a newer silver bag and the leather doesn’t hold a candle to these oldie goodies. Dive right in! OK, because of my lust for pewter, I played eBay roulette, and purchased this despite some alarming photos.

I admit to being relieved when I pulled her out of a ..plastic bag! :amazed: She looks authentic, despite the weird font on the tag.

She’s super lightweight and the leather is one of the most buttery soft I’ve ever touched.
I think someone has attempted to spruce her up, because I don’t think the edging looks quite right, too blue, in places. Color is rhinoceros grey. It was extremely difficult to capture the actual shade in photos.
I believe she is a 2004 PH grey Twiggy. My first Twiggy.
I was thinking to send her off to be refurbished, definitely the handles.
What say you?

There is absolutely ZERO way I would ship any bag, much less one that sold for more than $100, without a plastic bag.

The tiny chance of damage a few days in transit in plastic could do is far outweighed by the risk of water damage while shipping if you package without plastic.
