Ohhhh—I did see that thread but saw nothing but old prices initially. Should have examined closer. I see what you mean now about the Twiggy code. Thank you!! I feel like I just leveled up![]()

Noted- and these color codes are located on the back of the silver tag?My pleasure. Also, colour codes started appearing on the tag back in 2010.
Back of the leather tag the silver is attached to for the bags that have silver tags, back of the leather tags for others. On the newer bags the tags are all over the place depending on style.Noted- and these color codes are located on the back of the silver tag?
I'm OCD and a list maker, so I just made my own spreadsheet of color name/year of production/color code when I started getting into Bal's and realized it wasn't a passing fad for me! There's a ton of info/changes throughout the years, so it takes a while to get familiar with it all; stick on this site for a while and you'll learn!Thank you- is the style code info publicly available on the forum anywhere?? I'm actually a bit confused on how to ID anything other than the letter on the silver tags, and then matching it up with the color on the color charts thread.
I wish I had done that, my OCD works in ways to hinder, not help.I'm OCD and a list maker, so I just made my own spreadsheet of color name/year of production/color code when I started getting into Bal's and realized it wasn't a passing fad for me! Will try! I lost interest in Bal over 10 years ago—lack of proper nourishment I'd say (colors didn't seem as exciting, but mostly didn't love the leathers, wanted the old chevre back). And I had/still slightly have an OCD about buying pre-owned due to seeing how some people treat their bags.I'm OCD and a list maker, so I just made my own spreadsheet of color name/year of production/color code when I started getting into Bal's and realized it wasn't a passing fad for me! Any time! Will try! I lost interest in Bal over 10 years ago—lack of proper nourishment I'd say (colors didn't seem as exciting, but mostly didn't love the leathers, wanted the old chevre back). But after wandering through all the other stuff, I realized that Bal really is the biggest bag love of my life. Enough to push aside my OCD and start the hunt. Just wish I'd started earlier but ah well.
And thank you for the info @muchstuff! Very generous of you.
