OMG 2007 chèvre is some of my favorite leather ever! I need some help please. Do you think this is Plomb or Vert Fonce? It definitely shows more green in the photos… I know the fading makes it a bit more difficult to id. TIA 🙏🏻💙

That’s what I was thinking and I am SO HAPPY that you agree. Although VF is a great color too, Plomb is my HG color and after receiving a re painted “plomb” bag a couple weeks ago, I am even happier. As always, Thanks for your quick reply @muchstuff

Hi everyone! First time posting so hope I'm doing this right (and that it's the right thread to post in). I purchased a First bag with gold hardware second hand and I was curious to figure out more info re: the year, colour and possibly if authenticate. My strap is unusually long to me haha.. my understanding is the strap is meant to be a shoulder strap but mine is able to go cross body (it's 40 sum inches from top to bottom!).. was there ever a period longer straps were released? I'm told it's the original strap that came with the bag and I'm thinking the bag is circa 2005 but I'm not entirely sure so any and all help is appreciated. Best!
Edit: The more I surf this forum, the more I'm learning! I do see some 2003 First bags with the long strap but now I'm back to being stumped on the year of this bag

I guess I should have came to this forum first before purchasing with an uneducated eye. I've attached the photos of her listing below - would you be able to tell if it's the same bag? The only info I got from the Seller was "it's from around 2001 and it was under Nicolas Ghesquiere so I'm leaning towards early 2000s."

Also, the colour is called coquelicot from the first group of pics. The second group of pics isn't the same bag so be careful with the seller. Three of the pics are stock photos and they are of a First.
